I cannot tell you how addicted to this series I am man. When a day goes bynthat you dont post, i get seriously disappointed! Keep up the amazing work. Would love to see a shed, or maybe a tent for you to start sleeping in. Must be uncomfortable sleeping in a tractor for 2 years!
For AI workers i think a good "limit" is just not to go buying extra tractors etc with the specific though that you can put another worker in that tractor. If it's gear and equipment you already have and there is a good contract while you yourself have work to do on your own farm, it's all fair.
Only complaint I have on this series is that I caught up to your newest videos and I need more. I enjoy watching while I am farming on my own game. Keep up the good work.
Land will always be there to buy, sales won’t. I always buy sales over land. There will be a point when you don’t need anything in the sales then you just buy land! Nice video dude. 😊
More land! That's always a great feeling. Congrats! If you want some fairly low-maintenance additions to the farm. You can take one of the edges of a grass field and add a small sheep pasture. You can choose to build the fence however you like to ease mowing/harvesting the field around it. Just make sure to say no when it asks if you want it to plant the meadow. The one they plant for you doesn't regrow, but building the fence around a planted grass field will feed them until it needs a month to regrow. You will need to feed them in the winter, and for the months the field regrows, but goats would pay for themselves very quickly. Love the videos man, great work!
Back in FS22 when I would do Silage pits I always used the front attachment that would pickup and shoot the material into the trailer behind me. Worked out way better for me than trying to wrangle the forage wagon through the pit when it would insta-pickup almost a full load making a huge hole.
I think an awesome series would be the frugal survivalist. You can only buy things from the sale, but you can rent the gear from the farmer to complete contracts
Hi Syrup, not sure if it's because of a mod that I installed but check the controls of your cultivator. for me it shows "Allow to create fields" (or whatever the English translation is) and then you can use that to connect your two plots :) Lovely episode as always!
If you paint it, from my experience, you'll get your money back plus a little. So both repairing and painting can net you a small profit if you can afford to do it.
Finally I could watch this one - great stuff... If I'm the one doing this, what I think I would do would be buying that land with the lake where you get the water fairly early, in the beginning just maybe put some animals there and would try to slowly build up a homestead. Naturally the lands I'd target would be somewhere not too far to avoid a lot of running around. When the homestead (with all necessary things including things is built, there is no loan and making profit, I'd say the challenge is completed - although I'd probably just keep going. So.... tomorrow is the next one? hehehe
If you allow yourself to use AI workers (which is realistic and fine), I think you should allow yourself the use of leasing of equipment; it is certainly realistic, and you can put limits on it if you’d like…such as a limit on what machines you can lease, the amount you can spend, on what jobs/crops etc. etc. Anyway, I have definitely been enjoying your series so far, keep it up. Cheers.
I think AI should be open season but ONLY usable on your own land. It makes a lot of sense that you'd have employees working your land, a bit less that you'd have employees working someone else's land as a contract. Not out of the question, just odd.
Had to subscribe, thought I lost you after watching the first 10 episodes back to back! Also I'm wondering if it would be worth it to set up a conveyor to load the silage eventually, fingers crossed a sale comes.
Thanks for the sub! I have been considering the conveyor, but I also might just switch to baling soon, I don't know how much more that silage pit is going to be able to hold anyway
Repair/repaint doesn't affect things in 25. It's a outdated mentality now When your loading cabbage ect you can go 2 deep on the tines instead of 2 high (also 2 wide but less helpful for loading)
From what I've seen, repairing and painting will not give you more money on sales. It used to be a thing in past fs but not in fs25 (unless it was put in an update of course)
At a previous video it was commented that the Silege adetive has a butten thar activates it but that this wagon doesn't show this button. They even said which one it was but i don't remember it. The comment should still be up though 😅
Can you pay down the loan at all? Somehow UA-cam recommend your video to me a few days ago. After your second video I bought the game and playing Fram sim for the first time. With your rules in place 👍
It's not significant boost, but it does give you a little bit as you can see in the video, and if you're at the store already, it's just a couple extra clicks, so if you've got the cash to cover it, no reason not to imo 🤷♂️
Well when I tried it in this video it did give me almost an extra $100 over the repair cost for my tractor, so it does give you something, but it's not really significant
I found the bug making your forage wagon silage additive not work the .xml file is missing a line. Farming Simulator 25\data\vehicles\poettinger\bossAlpin251\bossAlpin251.xml Line 405. Line 406. Line 407.

So happy you're enjoying the series! I'm trying hard to get videos out as fast as I can!
Definitely planning on starting my homestead soon too

Haha glad you're enjoying the series! Trying to get videos out as fast as possible!
@@syrupgames you're doing great. I just like binging.
loving this series, have been following along while starting my own farming simulator journey and am addicted 😅
Land will always be there to buy, sales won’t. I always buy sales over land. There will be a point when you don’t need anything in the sales then you just buy land! Nice video dude. 😊
Good point!
Looking good, things are coming along nicely. You will one field just for parking equipment soon!
More land! That's always a great feeling. Congrats! If you want some fairly low-maintenance additions to the farm. You can take one of the edges of a grass field and add a small sheep pasture. That is interesting about the sheep pasture, I will definitely consider that!
Congrats on 3k subs
Thank you!
I'm Loving how long the videos are my guy, keep up the good work

I saw a mod for that attachment, but I didn't think 25 has it in the base game, I'll have to take another look at those attachments
I think an awesome series would be the frugal survivalist. You can only buy things from the sale, but you can rent the gear from the farmer to complete contracts
Selling at shop is 10% bonus, repairing is dollar for dollar but if you sell at shop you get 10% of repair and repaint price as well.
FYI the rental price for equipment is always 1/20th (or 5%) of the purchase price. This does not include hourly and daily fees.
That's good to know, thanks!

Lovely episode as always!
I did see a mod for that, but I don't think cultivators can create fields in the base game... I do want to get a plow so I can join my fields though!
Great work as always
Glad you enjoyed the episode!
Terimakasih sudah menemani begadangku 🤗

Love this series so much I started my own keep up the good work
Thanks for watching!

Definitely planning to buy land for a homestead soon! Next video should be out very soon!
Rarely will I comment but love the content. Truly believe you’ll be at the top of FS25 creators.
Thanks for the support!
Love the content keep it up (:

It would be cool to see you build a farm that has all your end goals in it, just something to complete the "rags to riches" challenge.
yeahhhh new episode
I think AI should be open season but ONLY usable on your own land. It makes a lot of sense that you'd have employees working your land, a bit less that you'd have employees working someone else's land as a contract. Not out of the question, just odd.
Unless he is a contractor.

I've had mixed results using the hoe on weeding contracts as well. It's been hit or miss for me on it working.
“I abandoned that plan to buy that hoe.”😂
😂
You could put a limit on how many AI contracts you do per month. Like a maximum of 1-2 contracts per month done by AI
I personally dont waste money to repaint my tools unless i am 100% planning on selling it.
I think you should sell the old tractor and upgrade the trailer with a crane for the wood transporting 😊
Maybe! I do still need forks for loading pallets though, so I can't sell that John Deere just yet
My mind combined the thumbnail with the title and read "Selling the farm" 😂 I had to double check, haha
maybe check out swapping out the greenhouses for rice sapling ones they go for wayy more
Thanks for the tip, I'll look into that!
Repaint and repair gives extra coule thousands
I am curious how backing the trailer into the silage pit would go? 🤔
I did try that at one point... It kinda worked, but it was still tough to back it up over the humps
Maybe the size of weed matters?
Does a tower silage work ? And save the drama xD?😂❤
Lets go
Repair/repaint doesn't affect things in 25. It's a outdated mentality now
When your loading cabbage ect you can go 2 deep on the tines instead of 2 high (also 2 wide but less helpful for loading)
37:15 I tested repairing, it does give you a small profit to repair
only one weeder can handle medium weed
From what I've seen, repairing and painting will not give you more money on sales. It used to be a thing in past fs but not in fs25 (unless it was put in an update of course)
Yeah from what I'm hearing, it was changed in an update.. I did test it in this video at 37:15 and it would've made a $92 profit on a $916 repair
@syrupgames oh great! I have a comment before finishing the video problem lol. Hope you're having a good day.
At a previous video it was commented that the Silege adetive has a butten thar activates it but that this wagon doesn't show this button.
They even said which one it was but i don't remember it. The comment should still be up though 😅
I forgot to try that, thanks for reminding me!
Can you pay down the loan at all? Somehow UA-cam recommend your video to me a few days ago. After your second video I bought the game and playing Fram sim for the first time. With your rules in place 👍
Yes, you can make loan payments in the finances tab!
Rule number 1 - dont spend all ur money on a hoe .
Oh wait thats not FS that's real life
😂
The repairs and repainting ain't worth it.
It's not significant boost, but it does give you a little bit as you can see in the video, and if you're at the store already, it's just a couple extra clicks, so if you've got the cash to cover it, no reason not to imo 🤷♂️
In 2025 repair and repaint does not give you more money than the cost of the repair and paint
Well when I tried it in this video it did give me almost an extra $100 over the repair cost for my tractor, so it does give you something, but it's not really significant
When the game first came out, it was a complete loss but has since been patched, so it is now worth it.
@@syrupgames perhaps depends on how damaged it is at the time
