GREAT airplane and flight. It would be helpful if you put the airport codes in your description. I would like to give this one a go. AND the price of the plane can't be beat. Thanks and welcome to MSFS 2024! !! !!!
Hangar Studios puts out some fantastic planes and are pretty involved with the community. Frequently see them commenting on UA-cam, joining group flights on Twitch and super quick to respond on Discord. The Navions are some unique planes, the twin is my favorite out of them... But the Decathlon he made is absolutely amazing.
Thanks for this video --I am a very old real life pilot who now has reached the age of “ simulator only flying”! I loved this video and I loved how you enjoyed the new turbulence modeling and the casual in flight pilot training Aloha from Kona Ps I forwarded this to my friend Blake whom I mentored during his entry into the world of flight simming 25+ years ago--he told me that he had already subscribed to your channel --lol Aloha and Mahalo Nui for the great video! Second PS My godmother was a WASP during WW2 and began to teach me to fly at about age 5 at the Half Moon Bay airport south of San Francisco- there was a war surplus bright yellow Navion there which my god mother was able to “wrangle” rides for me in the right seat--oh boy, memories! Note: in those days local pilots were a little afraid of that plane due to some sort of engine unreliability.
I have all of his airplanes... they are wonderful, and extremely well done. Thanks for making this video, and showcasing his work. The Navion is a fantastic airplane.
👍👍 Great smooth video! I haven't bit the bullet yet on 2024 so I'm glad to see the scenery, especially the water textures, definitely looking better than 2020. And that Navion not only looks good but sounds great as well. I'm definitely going to grab it for $10. Regards from Thailand & Happy Thanksgiving!😁
Ryan made one or two nice planes 😉 shortly after I watched this I landed in SAN and collected my luggage under the Spirit of St Louis replica. I enjoyed the video & learnt a thing or two.
So, one thing I found with slide-top planes in msfs2024 is that I can get those to slide using my mouse wheel. I have to keep my mouse on it (so I have to move it), but if I scroll down it will keep opening the top. Not sure if that works on this or not but it's worth a shot! Thanks for uploading this. **subscribed**
Hey, thanks for that, I will give it a shot! I gave zero doubt it works, it’s just a matter of pilot incompetence (me 😂). I really appreciate the support!
I’ve been loving MSFS2024 since day 2. The career mode is still janky but I’m more of a realistic free flight person anyway. If they clean up stall characteristics and crosswind correction performance it would be absolutely perfect for me.
Thanks for all your videos and tests helping the community to a better sim experience, can you look into making a comparison between msfs 2020 and msfs 2024 CPU utilization, and if the promised multithreading is actually working.
Great video. All his planes are amazing. He is constantly working on making them better and better. Lots of great stuff coming from him keep an eye out.
Tobii, and you have to use OpenTrack, I am going to make a video on it but it’s relatively straightforward. Only way to get Tobii working in 2024 unfortunately.

Apologies, I meant to do that. The departure airport is TJCP and the arrival is TUPJ, both from SLH Sim Designs!
@@IslandSimPilot No appologie necessary. Thanks for posting the video and review

I haven't tried my twin navion yet in 24 but i always liked the plane. I definitely will soon.
Trees are indeed too tall, Will be fixed for the FS24 Upgraded Version.

I totally agree, I have this and the Super Decathlon, both are absolutely fantastic.
ISP how did you install culebra airport on MSFS 2024. I have it but got the 2024 default airport. Maybe a tutorial or something??

Hey Jimbo, thank you kindly, and the very same to you!

There is a gtn 750 for 2024 now.
Looks like you are using head/eye tracking? Is it Tobii or TrackIR? If so, any issues getting it working?

You might be able to turn off the fuel pump once your plane is running. At least that’s what I’ve seen from other aircraft.
Very inexpensive and well done. Impressed.
Bummed I cant get this plane to work in 24.
For me Islander and Tri Islander doesn’t work well. No power to takeoff
Same here
