Thank you Nico for this video. I watched your proposal video like 2 weeks ago. I have applied to at least 10 jobs interviewed by 4 and hired by 3 clients. One of the interviews I made a mistake on the test project which could have won me my 4th but I learnt my lesson. Looking forward to being aggressive and revamping my profile especially creating specialized profiles and detailed portfolio. Thanks again.
Thanks for the great explanation of these most important 4 concepts After the base is ready, upwork really is a number game 🎯 And the "proposal for each service" tip is really helpful
Super glad it was helpful!! Yeah, having a proposal template for each service you offer makes it way easier to systemize and you'll likely get better results because of the specificity.
Okay, will do! There's a video about appointment setting on my channel: ua-cam.com/video/5SKTeSeA5Kk/v-deo.html What specifically would you like to see in a client communication video?
Sure thing! Implement the teachings on my UA-cam channel and I guarantee you'll start signing clients. I also have a video on how to get your first client if that's your current situation.
Thank you very much for this video, it's so insightful. I have a question, if I put does keywords and job tags on my title section, won't it be too much for that section and also makes it looks like a jack of all trades? Looking forward to your response. Thanks.
Great question, I recommend only offering 2 (maximum of 3) services on Upwork. And they should all be related. Ex.) Facebook Ads | Google Ads | UA-cam Ads instead of Bookkeeping | Facebook Ads | Web design Does that make sense? Feel free to reply if you have a question about that ^^
@@olayinkaolyj9375 I recommend only offering related services on Upwork. If you're offering SEO and Paid ads, those are similar enough to offer them both on Upwork and I would recommend creating 2 specialized profiles.
Can my friend give me a testimonial on my Upwork profile but he did not hire me on Upwork and are our laptops connected to the same wifi? Kindly guide me about that Nico
You don't need to be hired on Upwork to get a testimonial from someone. Not sure about the wifi piece, I don't think that's an issue though. Make sure you and your friend are ethical about this, and he should only write a testimonial that is truthful!
Hey Nico , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
Thank you so much
Sure thing! Glad you enjoyed!!
Very helpful for those just starting on Upwork to avoid making the same mistakes
Glad you enjoyed it!

@@NicoHessel ok thank you. So if the services are not related it is advisable to create a special profile for them right?

Bro, Could you pls tell me which app you are using for editing?
Haha I have a video editor - I don't edit the videos myself, so I have no idea unfortunately.

I find it best for a friend / family member to write about your character opposed to work. That way there is no debating the ethicality.
