- Dan @DesperateDanDiscovers gave me a Trail Camera amzn.to/44xpObf so we decided to put it in our local woods and see what we could capture.
Shout out to Mazzy X at @mazzyxxxx and @TravelTrollsTV We also have a look at @leevancamp new Ford Mustang, we also visit the Ragged Apron and meet some subscribers. We also take a look at the Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa. Quite a mixed video so we hope you like it.

No time up to you subs target !, ❤
Thank you so much 😁
Brilliant vlog! I hate the woods. I always feel there’s something watching.
That breakfast looked good!
Great video as always. Love the big breakfast you get there. Wow 😊 makes me hungry. Keep making them, great videos.
We had our wedding reception at the Petwood many years ago a beautiful place. Great wildlife footage I bet your garden has loads of interesting wildlife visitors during the night.
We do have a hedgehog, Merlin brought it into the house once lol
Love all you two bring to us, what a lovely family and friends you have, love Sharon to bits, even when she she's feeling tired, so pleasant, no matter what you're doing, love you and family 😉
I love you Sharon and Martin.
Love all your shows... Cooking/history/family. etc.
Love seeing what it's like to live in Lincolnshire...You seem like a lovely family and community.
Stay strong. Don't let the haters upset you. Difficult, I know.
Please keep doing your UA-cam channels. I'm in my 70s now and I love your shows..I live alone with a beautiful stray cat, who decided to move in a few years ago, known as Jack.
My Dad was a Lancaster pilot.
He was a teenager, left school at 17yrs halfway through doing his High School Certificate (A levels these days)
The majority of his crew were teenagers too. Their rear gunner was just 15yrs, lied about his age, and was accepted. I met him and his wife years later, as I did other crew members.
The older man in the crew was 25yrs old and the crew affectionately called him "the old man" and offered to help him up into the Lancaster..
Dad's Navigator was a Canadian.
My parents and family kept in touch for years with the crew.
I still have my Dad's Log Book.
Also have my Grandpop's little book that he carried with him during WW1 in the trenches in France. He recorded his thoughts, quotes from the present and past and drew a lot of cartoons of what he saw. He was a talented artist. He asked me in 1968, when I was 15yrs to take his book and look after it. Sadly, Grandpop died very soon afterwards.
My maiden name is Shrimpton and I come from a long line of needle makers.
My Mum was born in Catford SE London. Later, my Nanny and Grandad moved to Lewisham SE London.
Mum worked at the Old Admiralty as a telephonist.
She later joined the WAAFS and was sent to North Wales to learn to drive lorries on Pwllheli seafront.
She said she never imagined that she'd have a daughter and two granddaughters living there and her granddaughters would learn to drive along the same sea front years later.
Mum was eventually posted to the East Coast of England and there she met my Dad...
He was from Redditch Worcestershire and I was born there years later at my Grandparents house.
My family moved to Meirionydd in 1967 Mid Wales with the family needle making business to provide jobs.
I now live on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula North Wales.
Such a lovely comment. So glad you enjoy our videos, I remember a model in the 60's called Jean Shrimpton, Not a relative, I wonder lol
@@butlersempire Well, I wonder too re Jean Shrimpton.
Someone did a family history back in the 70s and said she could be/is/was a relative? All the history of the Shrimptons were needle makers and anyone with the name of Shrimpton were all related. Who knows?
Anyway, I remember my Gran (Dad's Mum) looking at a photo on Vogue front page at Jean Shrimpton and saying how lovely she was and had the Shrimpton nose lol 😂
Haha, I think I inherited the Shrimpton nose.
Love you, all your family and all your shows on UA-cam. Please keep making them.
Such a joy to watch in these uncertain times.
Much love to you all xxx

Another great video just love you 2 and great to see the wildlife you captured well done 👏🏼
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Martin and Sharon. It would be a good idea when you're walking amongst Bracken to have full covering on your legs, as you can pick up Tics. These horrible critters sometimes carry Lyme's Disease, for which I'm pretty sure there's no cure. Best to be safe 👍
I'm sure if anything DARED to bite Sharon there would be an airfryer recipe without delay!!🤣🤣🤣
Fully enjoyed it :) yes I binge watch I leave my fone playing your videos all nite
Awesome! Thank you!

Hi Martin and Sharon, I first found Butler's empire when I wanted information on using my new air fryer and after that I was hooked. I used to be an avid film watcher but since discovering your channel I have not watched a film in over three weeks. I have been catching up on all your videos and find them so very interesting. I wish more families were like yours, you are all so very close, just like mine are and still have the old family values of days long gone. Good luck to you and your family and lovely friends. Happy Birthday to Sharon and long may it all continue.
Thanks Barney all the best bud.
Having to watch on catch up again. 😔😔😔. Love your channel and getting to chat with you both.
Thanks so much Leigh.
Another great video, thank you once again and keep up the great work
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again you have a lovely family
Thank you so much 😁
What a beautiful hotel, that statue is Pan… half goat half man. In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Pan is the god of the wild, shepherds and flocks, rustic music and impromptus, and companion of the nymphs.
Might as well leave a bucket out😂😂😂😂
Hi Martin and Sharon, really enjoyed the video, I'm like Martin I've got no sense of direction, i just followed John when we used to go out. Lovely seeing the deer and foxes. The food in the ragged apron is really good. I liked Lee's new car
Glad you enjoyed it Sandra

Love your video. Awesome, just use what three words app will help you find your trail cam 😅
The hotel looks beautiful. Wedding photos will be amazing there x
Better not let Sunak see it ...
This is a lovely Video. Baby Frank is so cute 😊 when He saw Nanny and grandad. Keep Up the good Work 😊
A great video you two. Good for laughs and repartee. Not many things do I miss here in Thailand, but some of them are the old English architecture, gardens and woodlands. Regarding the fox being very wary of something in the woods. If that was here, my first thought would have been a snake. Only adders in England. Good videos and a lot of work goes into them.
Glad you enjoyed it Ron.
Brillant you two are so funny, best wishes to you lee in your new car, happy motoring was away for holidays hadn't seen you in a while,, love your videos absolutely amazing, keep up the good work ur lovely people xx julie in ireland

Why wasn't the lovely Sharon not having a birthday special breakfast and a freebie too.
Nice moves Martin. Not even with a trail cam would I go camping, tried it once in my own back garden and ended up heading indoors by 1am, couldn't sleep with the downpour. I freeze blackberries as picked, go lovely in fruit smoothie.
How sweet baby Frank's excitement on seeing ye both. Fabulous woods and grounds Petwood hotel has and lovely weather to enjoy it. Have a great time in Nottingham, bye for now

Another masterpiece of filming thanks 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it
Happy Belated Birthday Sharon. Hope you had an amazing day 🥳🎂🎈xx
Thank you so much!!
Nice Mustang Lee! M & S, if you put the What Three Words App on your phones, it would help you return to the Trail Camera. 💡
Oh that’s late… think I may have to watch tomorrow
Love watching your videos xx
Thank you so much!!
I’m glad it later as I thought I was going to miss live 😊
Yes you can freeze Blackberries, no need to separate them either....just stick them in a bag or container and chuck them in the freezer....they won't freeze to a solid block
Agree rodders but after thawing they have lost something so a crumble, or jam is order of the day?? Delicious!!
@mikechunter1099 I use them in a crumble or mixed with apple and rhubarb in a pie..... Unless My grandkids get at them first.....they like them straight from the freezer better than shop-bought ice lollies.....But ALWAYS remember to pick them from waist-high and above to avoid the ones that dogs have peed on.😮
Hi Sharon and Martin .
Evening to you both from my 'Er indoors
