I have a gear with 290 teeth and 0.75 module but with outside diameter of the entire clock 8.64 inches. When I use this PCD formula it doesn’t make sense. Please help. How do I find the pitch circle diameter?
m=d/t d= m*t d=0.75*290 d=217 what are the units for module? mostly its mm/teeth. In that case it will 217mm Keep in mind the units. If units are not correct results will be wrong.
Do you actually understand what an "Involute Teeth Profile" even is?? Because this isn't that. This is a circular tooth profile, just like all the other tutorials. Super disappointing.
