  • 10-11-2013. Just testing the acceleration of my new car.
Could have been a lot faster.... At the traffic light the Traction Control kicked in because it was slippery (wet and oil on the surface) and the car was not in Sport mode and not manual shifted.

My new M235i Gran Coupe is much quicker, but somehow it doesn't feel quite as impressive. See ua-cam.com/video/ey_mEGtNCeY/v-deo.html

Ah okay, in that case you're right...The engine was indeed not completely warmed up, but not completely cold either.

@@LordFieryFTW That’s actually an engine oil temp gauge so the engine could be at operating temp and we wouldn’t even know since BMW are weirdos and didn’t put a coolant temp gauge in the car. The oil temp will fluctuate between 160 and 240 during normal driving too so that gauge is constantly up and down.

330 is quite a better car, way better engine, performance wise they are similar but the quality and engine longevity are worlds apart, don't switch

@@bartuaykut8387 N20/N26 are horrible engines dude, great when they work, but they got so many issues.... Horrible timing chain issue, water pump issues, oil leaks and i can go on and on. B-modular engines have been used since 2014 with the BMW i8 and theyve yet to show any major weaknesses.
Even Toyota uses the new B-modular engines from BMW, what does that tell ya?... I can guarantee you that Toyota sure as hell do not want to ruin their image of being reliable and overbuilt. Toyota have themselves said that they were very impressed when they where shown the B-modular engines.

@@bartuaykut8387 same my 2016 n26 has never had a single issue with the engine not a misfire rough idle or any CEL. They fixed these engines with the refresh they just killed it the next year to put a bigger number on the badge

This car has become the next. My new M235i Gran Coupe (F44) is much quicker, but somehow it doesn't feel quite as impressive as the 328i (F30). See ua-cam.com/video/ey_mEGtNCeY/v-deo.html
