Red Bull Sōlus, one of the most mentally and physically challenging contests in skateboarding, is back for a third year. From the mind of Ryan Sheckler, this digital skate competition challenges 17 of the top pros and amateurs to deliver their best continuous line at Sheckler’s private skatepark, the SC Sandlot. Here is Greyson Fletcher’s run.
On June 6-8, each of the competing skaters were given one hour at the SC Sandlot to film their best line - no music, no other skaters, and no knowledge of who else is competing in the competition. They're just stuck with their thoughts, their time limit, and James Craig, this year's official Red Bull Sōlus timekeeper and emcee.
Growing up in the legendary Fletcher Surf family, Greyson Fletcher took to skateboarding at an early age. With a style that is all-out, all the time, he is known for his free spirit and amplitude on large ramps, but he can also match that high energy style with a good bag of technical tricks.
Greyson skates for Arbor, Independent, RVCA, OJ Wheels, and Hard Luck.
This competition format, combined with the new blood featured in this year’s roster, has resulted in the best Red Bull Sōlus to date.
Our judges, Vanessa Torres, Mike Sinclair, and Jason Rothmeyer, will evaluate each video based on style, progression and creativity.

You know someone is a special skateboarder when just watching them ride around is inspiring. Like you don’t have to wait for them to get a specific trick to be impressed. That’s why any video with Greyson’s name on it is an instant click.

Hard to judge a tech vs transition skater. Guess it depends on who’s judging. He went huge. Gotta be up there in points.
Ya I agree I would have to say Tran tho over tech just cuz the fact U could get a lot more hurt An takes a lot more to lean An I’m a street skater

This greyson dude has won me over. He flows really well and is really polite to everyone. That's rare in these parts!
I personally skate more slow and technical, but he had me impressed the whole time. That's not easy to do!

yeah Evan Smith I feel has a same style, had some good times in SLS but judges can't appreciate this style no more. I mean, overall they're sh*t judges where if you do 5 tricks with no fall you get scored more then doing 20 with a fall.

if I could choose which skillset from al the souls skaters I could have..man I take Greyson without even flinching! this is incredible, he flies through the air with so much power in speed, it must be so much fun to be able to skate like this! insane!!!

This is my favorite run I've seen so far. Love the big air and transfers and the creativity with using the speaker in the run.

Greyson has always been one of my favorite skaters. Just a hard charging beast.
I know the same could technically be said about any transition leaning skater, but Greyson just looks like he's always surfing the gnarliest wave no matter the size of the obstacle!

All the tech trick specialist fruit loops have nothing over speed and style Greyson. Everyone else is in slow motion(or going backwards) compared to this guy. Not one other skater yet has the pure, balls-out wow factor of GF
