This is a great video. I know these TVs are junk nowadays, but it’s hard to believe all these parts can be assembled to build a TV for such a low price even even though they’re junk. I have a 75 inch Vizio V755-J04. I imagine this is the same procedure for the backlight replacement?
Hey i’ve the same tv and for some reason it started acting strange, when i turn on i just the vizio logo with with a very low brightness and nothing after that

Can you tell me the type of thermal tape that goes under the new backlights, and the type of double-sided tape you used to secure the backlight cover, since you removed the rivets?
The same thermal tape was used for the sheet. Just get any high temperature rated thermal tape that covers the width of the led strip

Hello, I have a Vizio D65-F1 and was wondering if you could give me a tip/advice on what to do? My TV started acting weird. It wouldn't turn off with the remote or the button behind the TV without me unplugging the TV. Now, the whole screen went black. I can hear audio but nothing more. I checked for a backlight issue. Replaced the main board and power board (used parts from eBay so not sure if either were 100% good) and still nothing. The red light shows on the port in the back of the TV that it has power. The white LED lights and fades off like normal. Looking for any help. Thank you.

Hello, please i need your assistance to diagnose an issue with my 65in Philips 4K TV. a while back it started flickering on the right half of the screen which goes on/off after 1-3mins of powering on, left side is ok!
