Dear Friends,
I want to know the difference in the way of operating departments within a company, especially between large and small companies, what are the differences? I think it's different in terms of production capacity, shipping capacity, inventory capacity, right ?.
i don't think it would be good for PR if you said klingons are from planet klingon when they're really from Kronos. but great video!
I thought the same thing.
I'm interested
what a trip
Love the terminology Shad. (P.S. MY NAME'S ALSO SHAD) Any contact info? I live in Russia and interested in international business.

Dear Friends,
I have many questions:
1/ What is the purpose of the trade agreements between countries?
2/ Do rich countries rely on trade agreements to evade taxes?
3/ Rich countries rely on trade agreements to discharge pollution?
4/ Poor countries benefit from trade agreements?
Could you help?. Thank you.
00:07 International business is often quite different from doing business in your home country
01:19 Doing business in the U.S. has fairly consistent external factors
02:24 Assumptions for international business need to be questioned and modified.

07:59 International business requires consideration of socio-cultural, technological, and legal differences.
Dear Friends,
Suppose you are a CEO of a large company, and you are opening a subsidiary overseas. You want the CEO and CFO of the subsidiary to maximize the amount transferred to the parent company. So what would you ask them to do? Thank you.
Talk about going off at a tangent….literally!!!
This topic reminds me so much Elon Musk!
5:46 -- Um, Actually: Klingons are from the planet Kronos.
Haha! Thanks for the correction James, we will try to be more accurate with that in the future
Nerd! That is why you're not on the team.
Suppose company ABC has a competitive advantage in production, and the CEO wants the company to have a competitive advantage in distribution. So how many ways are there to achieve this?
If ABC wants to build its own competitive advantage in distribution, what will it need to do?
Hey ytuong1
This is a bit of a trick question. First, if you already have a competitive advantage in production, then you only need competitive parity in distribution. Second, if you do want to achieve a competitive advantage in distribution you can really only achieve it in one way-by building a distribution system that is fast and low cost (a la Amazon). One could argue that an alternate way is to build in “white glove” distribution, where things are moved fast and with the utmost care to ensure the product is delivered safe and secure.
Hope this answers your question!

@@TheInternationalHub , thank you
@@TheInternationalHub , Why does a company want to bring their products into the US need to go through a domestic company in the US? Then they buy a company in the US or build a company for its own distribution? .
Dear Friends,
I have a question:
1/ Why do rich countries invest in factories in poor countries ?, how do they evade taxes, and why can't governments in poor countries force them to pay taxes?
What I’ve been taught is that in these poorer countries, the company is able to take advantage of cheap labour. The poorer companies government will also sometimes offer incentives to large companies to set up in their countries as it will increase the value of the poorer counties GDP and make them more attractive for future business ventures.
They will still pay corp tax however it will be at a much lower rate than ‘richer’ countries as the ‘poor’ country benefits off of the company operating there due to employment opportunities, infrastructure improvements etc, therefore to entice a company into operating there they will offer them an incentive ie. low corp tax. Hope this helps!
@@teagancx6279 , thank you.
Better if you were simple and with earth examples, from one nation to International to make it simple to understand instead of bringing the topic out of this planet....video is confusing for elementary students.
Great video!
