Hahaha completely missed the community post so I thought I wouldn't get to ask anything, good thing I had a few old backup questions I guess. About the objectivity of fashion- you might have guessed that I am of the opinion that it is completely subjective. Taking your example of those ugly skin tight, spray on jeans, ofc the wearer must have thought it looked good, so can you really call it objectively bad? It was subjectively good to him. I think super tight pants are more common and accepted on women because of the hypersexualization of women in media. If the same thing were done to men, I think we would be less against those type of pants in general. Just one last question: As the skinny/slim pant is coming back, do you think there will be a shift in your own personal style? Personally, I doubt I would ever go full skinny or even slim, but might get some straight fit stuff in a few years.
Keep going !
