Those battery power 6’’ chainsaws are great . Like you I’ve transitioned to battery power whenever I can!👍🏻🇺🇸
Right on!
I've seen ads for these. Wondered if they were good. Thanks for the info.
You bet🙂👍
I have a similar under a different Chinese name. It is really handy. Glad to see your oil bottle empty. I thought maybe it leaked out in transit. Mine was tool only, uses my Dewalt 20v batteries which makes it easy.
For small jobs that's a good tool. ❤ The extra battery makes it a decent deal.
And congrats on 50k subs. 🎈🥳🎈
Thanks for the video.
I can see where that would be handy in some places. On the other hand, I don't have a tree within a mile of my house in any direction. I used to enjoy processing small wood with a machete.
My buddy bought one like that after his wife got a pink one ! Lol i laughed... but then he came but my house on the bucket of his tractor and proceeded to trim every tree one our street! Some branches at least 6" diameter! Now I really got to get one...
Haha! Awesome!
Nice video I think you might want to try the Milwaukee hatchet it’s battery powered. It’s got a built-in oil reservoir. That way your chain stay cooler last longer
Good review. I love my chainsaws, but it is good to have an alternative. I use my reciprocating saw for these tasks. I usually can go 1/2 a day with the 20v.8amp battery. It is much more versatile than mini chainsaw, but it is more expensive. I think the mini chainsaw could work well for many. If I didn't have my sawzall, I'd probably look at it myself. I am curious about how long the battery lasts.
I’m definitely going to put it through its pieces. They usually don’t last too long from what I can tell. Especially overtime
@@411Outdoors Looking forward to it.
are you going to the east coast slingshot tournament this year dan?
What are the dates for that brother?
@@411Outdoors they have a facebook page about that but i can’t go anyway because I’m actually 11 and my dad doesn’t really shoot
Man I grabbed one of those and it's the best 50 bucks I've recently spent.
💯💯👍👍
I'm going to assume that you made the same mistake as I did. For nearly the same price, you can get a mini chainsaw with an oiler activated by a bulb and I would definitely want oil on the chain if I could get it. Usually nearly the same price or $10 or so more. I find mine very useful (even without oil) and keep waiting for it to break down so I can get another, but so far, reliability has been one of it's strengths--dammit.
Thanks for the info!
Why 411??
It has two meanings 411 means “information” . You used to have to dial 411 to get information. It’s also a verse I love 1 Thessalonians 4:11
I clicked the link and Google said this site contains malware and phishing attacks so i left. 😢🤷🏻♂️
I was thinking it went straight to the Amazon site

Harvest fat wood.
I bought a small, handheld STIHL for the exact same reason as you did, and it's handier than a 3rd arm.
Definitely haha!👍
Can that mount to AR 15?
Haha! Probably not but I like the idea
Interesting product! Might work well on my dead palm branches.
i think if i wanted one of those i think i would buy from STIHL USA
Preparation for Zombie apocalypse begins😈😈😂😂
That’s the first thing that popped in my head 😂
A zombie head remover
@@bubbaluv500 Just hope the good people buy them out before they do 😂
Been looking for something to take camping like this.
Great little trimming saw,, my Girlfriend got one and She loves it.
What a cool little chainsaw, didn't know they even existed. Thankyou for showing it,need to get one for little things around the house.
It looks like it isn't self-oiling, which I thought was a key chainsaw feature. I will probably end up getting a reciprocating saw and pruning blade anyway.
I saw this and thought "that would be handy for making quick blinds for hunting, collecting forks for slingshots , camping firewood etc. I already own a ton of Dewalt batteries so looked at them.. but they were $140 for just the saw.. then I found the "knock off" copy (that uses Dewalt batteries) for only $30 on Amazon so I have one coming :)
I have a bunch of "real" chainsaws but i like not having the gas/ small/ oil mess in my Jeep... not an issue in my truck..
I am thinking a Rechargeable Saber Saw, since you can get different blades, for different cutting, plus different lengths. I like that little chain saw, specially with the guard. But I think some times a Saber saw might get into tight area's better. Stay safe.
These mini chainsaws have exploded onto the market in the last couple of years. At the same time, improvements to the batteries have been made. Most of us have some battery powered tools and once you make your first purchase of a brand, you generally stick to that brand because of the batteries. Several years ago, I chose the Ryobi brand and have approximately 6 different tools, all running on the same 18V battery platform. The one you are reviewing is reasonably priced and when I checked the link, it has a 50% off coupon. Quite the bargain!
Great for deer fire trail. And the family Christmas tree
Thanks for the review. Living here on the Va. Peninsula, we have our roads blocked too often by downed trees and limbs. Not many options to drive around, since it is a peninsula. lol So I picked up a battery powered chainsaw to carry around storm time. I don't like carrying gasoline every time I might need to clear a tree. Just a little chain oil. Throw it in the car or truck and head out.
I have a 4" one that is my go to for trimming limbs and what not. I absolutely love it.
Great review ❤
I have a slightly bigger one as part of a prep setup I have. But they are great. I use it instead of the gas all the time.
So much easier for sure! 🙂👍
Keep going brother 👍👍👍
Thank you will do!
