Do you think this would work as mono red? Swapping those green spells for more red pump spells? Maybe apostle's blessing in place of blossoming defense
@@dack_fayden0789 We could still run mutagenic growth by paying life, but scale up wouldn't be possible anymore. Since copying it with only one creature on the field doesn't change much, I think that losing it wouldn't be that bad. Having the mana base as mono r would make the deck much more budget friendly =)
Not sure if it was brought up or not but what are the thoughts on serum powder in the deck? For a deck so reliant on the opening hand and having a couple of dead draws in the deck doesn't sound the worst. Not sure if it is worth I wonder if it would be worth to opt in for gemstone cavern to make the leyline resonance hands stronger, prob not but this theory space is interesting.
The obvious issue with powder is that its a dead draw. While it can theoretically be a good inclusion you could be forced to powder hands that you wouldnt normally want to powder, and you can end up drawing them over actual gas cards.
Sure, i know this, but in my language we prounonce same word as fatal so it's hard to switch when not thinking about it, so i'm unable to do it when speaking casually.
Very nice. From day 1 of leyline axe I was thinking of a build with fervent champion + mutagenic. I will immediately try this version
Turn inside out seems like a good card with Scamp. 1 red instant, target creature gets +3/0 and then manifest dread when it dies.
this deck is sweet! makes me miss infect lol
I feel like infect would love leyline.
I'm coming back to Mtg after 9 years. Is infect still playable? I used to love infect, mill and land destruction hahahaha
Love this brew!
Scamps N Champs!! 🔥🔥🔥

@@BugioPimposo idk, some of those spells are pretty good, especially mutagenic growth and one that makes creatures 6/4, but prob can work in mono red.

@BugioPimposo yeah but its crazy copying it with 2 creatures on the field.
Makes me curious. Why is Blazing Shoal still banned?
Shoal would be usefull in this strategy ;-)

Prob not for this build, but could work in similar not so all in on early kill variant

Nice glass cannon deck. But in this meta not good. Just funny unfortunally
It’s fey-tal push. Not fa-tal push

Dack make a bluesky account!
Maybe in future, too busy atm too start new social, also bit tired of starting over on different platforms.
Are you Polish?
Nah, Croatian.
@@dack_fayden0789 Ok cool. I was trying to spot your accent.
Why dont you just play slippery boggles? your axe and monstrous rage will let it get through blockers
Cause axe in not good fit in boggles imo, unless we get fervent champion reprint with hexproof.
