Allow us to introduce: Elevator music
In 2019 we started renovating the new space in Jægergårdsgade, Aarhus. Back then we found an old elevator that had been bricked for several years. We think it had so much mojo, but no idea what to use it for. But now we know! The series is called Elevatormusik (Elevator Music) and the concept is simple; Introduce some of the amazing artists who comes by Akustikken - with a basic setup, live from the elevator.
If there is anything that can take the fight up against the onset of the winter cold, rising infection rates and stress-bought Christmas presents, it is hand-played music - preferably directly from an old butchers lift in a music store in the middle of the city of smiles.
Luckily, this is exactly what we have in stock - in the form of our friends Sarah, Victor, Oliver and Lasse. Together they form Rigmor, and in the alongside of all their gear, they have filled our elevator to the breaking point.
