Fernando, thank you my friend :-) I played this on my Bb Yamaha for my wife after a hard time in life we just went through. I was surprised, I picked up my trumpet for the first time in years..and I guess God showed me each note. I transcribed the piece and we both cried. incredibly powerful and I want to perfect it like you have.

Funny how a trumpet player comes out and plays a beautiful piece of music without all the hoopla of screaming notes and sloppy runs and people say he isn't very good. To me, this is how you play the trumpet. Great job.
Well, it IS possible to play beautifully and lyrically in the lower and middle registers as well as soar into the stratosphere to add emotion and intensity to the music that cannot be achieved otherwise. The trouble is that a lot of these guys who have the physical ability to play in the upper register don't have the musical talent to play expressively and tastefully in any register. So, the message here is, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Playing high still rules the world of trumpet-dom, but you have to be able to do it well and play well in the other registers as well.
This is just so beautiful i have been playing the trumpet for two years and i am absolutely horrid. But i just love how amazing you play its so beautiful.
