That'd be an interesting exercise. Then do the inverse and match teams up. Would probably back the Tier I pack with a Tier 2 backline above the opposite.

That would be all South Africa and New Zealand. They have unreal depth.

In fact, New Zealand's depth in general has taken a big hit from their post-WC exodus.
Honestly, I wouldn't pick many springboks for a world 15, but they alone would totally dominate the 2nd best 15 team.

Le Garrec was more impactful in this year's 6N than Reinach has been for the boks in a long time.
If you had to pick one player who was largely responsible for France's turnaround, it was le Garrec.
And he's much better for Racing 92 than Reinach has been for Montpellier in a long time.

Good choices, can't argue with most of that, and very glad Tommy Turnover made it in 🏴. I would take James Lowe before Telea and definitely Jaminet at fullback, probably take Etzebeth from the Boks though.....maybe Roigard or MacKenzie from the ABs. Cheers.

Big Frans is the man! Rugby people know a real one.
Like your selection routine. Makes sense. I wouldn't pick Porter, not great technique and gives away too many penalties. He is like marler who thinks it is all brute strength. In the Six Nations there is not much competition in the scrums now. I would pick another prop who is starting to monster up like Malherbe - Fletcher Newell. He is very young and has great technique and dominating power.

I would pick 2/3 from each of the top 6/7 countries and best 1/2 from others and then look at the positions covered and where there is no cover, easy choice.. leaving options for the other positions..
