So basically a disease called oripathy (like covid since this game was out on 2019).occured because of mining of a ore called originium. Characters in this anime uses the ore to use powers. Like the amiya's rings or staff sorta. So us dokutah found an organization called rhodes island, which works on making a medicine for that disease and there's the other factions of the white mask dudes who kill anyone who's infected. So yeah the whole story is us Surviving and making a medicine possibly.
