    The internet is so confusing..just watched another guy who said DO NOT REPAIR BALD SPOTS by overseeding (for Bermuda). No wonder my lawn sucks..the internet is so contradicting lol. And no..I don't know what Milorganite is..why not say what it is in the video?

    Good video Bruh! It's just the info I needed. I have several bare spots once I killed some crabgrass. It's been a while. Now it's time to seed those areas. Thanks for the info. I thought it would be alot harder

    I had some really low spots in my lawn. So low in fact, the mower would scalp the lawn to bare dirt when I ran over them. I bough that same exact "topsoil". Biggest mistake I made using that to fill the low spots. that stuff is terrible. Full of mulch, and a ton of various trash and plastic debris. Almost looked like pieces of vinyl siding chunks mixed it. Scott's should be ashamed of themselves for selling that stuff.
    I was looking for quality screened topsoil but its tough to find in small quantities. Landscape yards sell screened soil in larger quantities.
    This stuff is probably fine for what you're doing but for anyone looking to fill low spots, get some quality, screened topsoil from a landscape yard and mix it with some mason sand if you can.
    Love the videos, man. Subbed!

    My lawn is 3 yrs old. Sod was planted when I purchased my home. Does it take normally take a while for Bermuda lawn to get fully established or does it get established once it takes root?

      @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral  6 років тому

      Dietrick McKinney one solid year, if it’s still looking bad at 3 Years there’s other issues happening. Proper lawn cutting and good fert and pre M program with irrigation will take care of that. PH needs to be between 5.5-6.5 for Bermuda lawn for best results.

    Byd, I have some 007 prodiamine left over. I put down some dimension a few weeks ago. Should I use that prodiamine or save it till fall? I don't really have any weeds except some nutsedge!

    • @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral
      @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral  6 років тому +1

      if you did the dimension 3 weeks ago and your yard is looking pretty good being weed free.i would save it for the fall, it is getting a little late to put it down at this point. any weeds you get from this point you will need to spot treat those like a PRO.

    BYD. I just laid down 419 sod. When do I fertilizer spray on top. I didn’t fertilize on or in soil before putting down sod. I read fertilizer can before or after sod . Thank you

    Ha buddy. Correct me if I'm wrong . In a previous video you said not to put seeds at all on sodd Bermuda sodd For bear spots. I thought I had to use the plugs from my grass that's already growing and put it in those bear spots. I tried to put down the soil and Bermuda seeds and Nothing grew at all. I can actually see the roots down in the dirt that's how bad the spot is. What do I do. Can you help me out on this. Thanks Jimbo.

    • @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral
      @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah, it’s hard to get BermudaGrass to take . That’s why I use sand or the transplanted method. Plugs and sprigs work but may not be the same farm type but yeah that works.

    • @jamesmoglia1258
      @jamesmoglia1258 3 роки тому +2

      So I can buy a pro plugger, get some plugs of my grass and put them in my bare spots.Then add some soil and water. After that my bare spots will grow again. What else should I do to make this happen..Thanks Jimbo

    Hi BYD! Hope your Easter was nice. I have some dry patches in my yard and wonder if it's too early to use the methods you showed. I'm in TX and I had to cut my winter grass down after that. It is not 50 percent green yet so is it ok to work on dry patches now.

    Hi BYD, How can we treat bare area with no direct sun (shades).

    • @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral
      @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral  6 років тому

      you can but you may not have much success, the grass needs at least 8 hours of sunlight to germinate, now you can lay sod in those spots but it will probably thin out over a period of time. I have a spot like that in my yard also and i'm gonna try E Z seed by Scotts, that spot i'll try it in does get some sunlight so we will see how it takes.

    why not just cut the section out and re-sod it? It'll be cheaper and you don't have to wait. just dig it deep enough to where its level with the existing

      Hi Telly, am new to this, but what I knew is using sod is expensive. I have a big spot (a big trampoline was above it) and am thinking to do the seeding way. can you clarify the cost of using sod thx.

    • @diamondshottys1775
      @diamondshottys1775 6 років тому

      Sod is instant. just make sure its level with the surrounding. Bermuda Sod is usually a few dollars a square
