  • All SECRETS You MISSED In DISNEY'S INSIDE OUT 2
Inside Out 2 is filled with Easter eggs and subtle nods to both the original film and popular culture, as expected from a Pixar movie. One of the most heartfelt tributes is to Bing Bong, Riley's imaginary friend from the first movie. Although he doesn’t return in the sequel, an origami version of Bing Bong is seen in Joy's sleeping nook, symbolizing how Riley still carries a piece of him with her. Other hidden details include the unique bedrooms of the core emotions, each designed to reflect their personalities-Anger’s pillow is a cement block, while Joy’s room mirrors Riley’s own.
Several nods to Pixar’s history and crew are also present. Riley’s hockey jersey number is 28, signifying that Inside Out 2 is Pixar's 28th film, while DMR, the brand on Riley’s hockey gear, is a tribute to Jason Deamer, a Pixar production designer. Additionally, Lenny, the binoculars from Toy Story, makes a cameo as a pair of binoculars used by Sadness. Other fun references include a return of the “My hat” joke between guards Frank and Dave, voiced by Muppets alumni David Goelz and Frank Oz, and an homage to Pixar artist Ralph Eggleston through a character named Artist 87. These Easter eggs and subtle details add layers of fun and emotional depth for fans to uncover throughout the movie.
