The song “G” from there new album is pretty cool and uses a 7 string. Also, tune the low b string down to a, and it essentially makes it drop d for a 7 string.
Looks cool! Other headless similar to that like the legator g7fx and the strandberg are around that price and come with a bag (and leg is from sk while strand is from indo) and are around the same price. Those have more exotic woods (burl and quilt bodies, pale and quilt necks) and have fishmans as well. Imo a bit too pricy for what it is, but its schecters first er headless hopefully they make other cheaper versions and maybe an 8 string.
Right. I feel at this price they could at least give us a gig bag. I get it, there’s also the signature artist tax. Like this this guitar would have cost abit less if it didn’t have synyster gates name attached to it. But still for the price a gig bag would’ve been appreciated
I wish I had the equipment to record some proper demos. Maybe I’ll do one with my iPhone with the raw sound. My skill suck tho so won’t be anything good hahaha
How does it play man? Are you going to put a video up of you playing :) Think you'll be the first on UA-cam to do so, can't find anything else. Hoping to get one myself eventually, but it sucks about the no case situation! Does anyone even make hard cases for this shape?
Def needs some getting used to since I’ve never used a 7 string. I did use it to play regular 6 string songs and it sounds amazing though! I don’t have the equipment and set up to be able to post playing videos but eventually I want to be able to!! And yeah no case sucks for a guitar at this price. I believe it fits in schecter avenger cases but that itself cost a couple hundred dollars here 😭
@ This is exactly the same as me haha, I just love the design on this, not even sure how you'd implement the 7th string when playing things written on a 6 string. Do you find it much harder to perform bends on this or is the neck pretty slim despite the extra string? I'd just get a gig bag and keep it as a home only guitar, at this price and no hard case 🤣
@@SupMitchiz I’m still trying to learn but so far I’ve just been ignoring the low B string and playing the other 6 strings as a normal guitar haha. The fretboard is wider for the extra strings. But I didn’t have any issues with bends or anything when using it to play 6 string stuff. Just have to remember to ignore the low b string sometimes mentally I keep forgetting and think that’s the low E hahah! Yeah I have an acoustic gig bag I am temporarily putting this in. But def need a better padded bag or case to protect this super expensive thing 😂
7 strings are fun! Nobody is a seven string song - pretty easy to play the rhythm, so that's a good start. Dream Theater and Nevermore are some of my favourite 7 string bands, but a lot of their work is pretty technical. The River Dragon Has Come has some fun riffs! Beautiful axe!
@@KarzGuitar thanks for the recommendation! Will check em out! I bought it purely out of the fact i’m a SYN fan but since I have it might as well put it to use and learn some 7 string!
Guitar is definitely overpriced. No hard case for an over 2k guitar is insane. I like my schecter and think they make good guitars but anytime I’ve tried any of the syn guitars they feel terrible imo.
I do believe it’s overpriced to. No case is terrible. At the bare minimum a gig bag wouldn’t hurt. It doesn’t cost much to give us a bag I’m sure. I think the SYN guitars take a very specific group of people to appreciate. Personally I do prefer playing my Schecter Dan Donegan ultra if I’m being honest
@@DnAStudios007 all his Sigs have stripes (besides the satin distressed) and the deathbat inlays etc. I personally have 2 Syn standard and 2 Syn customs and 3 of them have the stripes So I actually like that this one is different. Such a beautiful guitar, normally headless guitars aren't my thing but that thing looks incredible

Have you had ringing issues with the pickups? Turning the tone knob down all the way gets rid off it. It's pissing me off due to how expensive it was
How much do you think it would cost to get it chrome gold yourself?
Anyway you would consider putting out a tone video? Doesn’t need to be fancy but would love to hear how this thing sounds!

That would be awesome. Sometimes I think iPhone recordings actually give a better representation than a full mic’ed up situation
