Thank you so much for this! I've recently gotten into skating and this is by far the most comprehensive and detailed analysis of the new rules and what they mean practically, your clarity is very much appreciated. I have a question about the change from 5 components to 3, as I'm quite concerned that Interpretation and Transitions have been removed; have they been absorbed into the remaining three components for the sake of simplicity, or will skaters not be rewarded for those elements going forward? You hear a lot of people worrying about figure skating becoming a "jumping sport" and losing artistry along the way, an opinion I don't necessarily agree with, but the removal of those artistic components from the rules has certainly made me concerned about the ISU's priorities. Thank you again for sharing this!

They have merged interpretation and transitions into the 3 remaining components. I plan to do another video on just the component changes! Thanks for watching. I’m glad it helped you!
Your channel is awesome & perfect for ignorant mom😄 like me. Better helpful information for skaters & coches. My daughter was punished recently on intermediate competition because she did some very difficult spin combination that could be done for junior (I was told) whe she is in intermediate. To many rules & her coaches wasn't very well informed 🤔

I'm so glad that you find it helpful! I'll have more detailed information about specifics for jumps, spins, step sequences, choreo sequences, etc... coming up! That's a shame that her coach didn't know! But hopefully, I'll be able to reach more people (including coaches) with information that they need to know!
