It's very inspiring seeing you play with such excellent musicians in Germany and Japan. That's been one of my long-standing dreams, to just travel the world and play with all the Unknowns in the little Nooks and Crannies of the World.

How do you come up with such compositions? I watched all of ur "composition" theme based videos and i find them really helpfull. Still i dont really get how to create such emotional music. Do you have any tipps for creating melancholic or emotional jazz? I love your work!!

Thank you! I guess I'll say it's a lot about trial and error - with this tune I wanted to have interplay between the guitar and vibes, but I had to go through several versions before I got the ending right (that little back and forth section). As for the emotion, I think the melodic lines that hit various tension tones have a lot to do with it, at least for me.

In my opinion the mallets are too hard for that soft music.
I had a similar impression. I think it's also the sound balance, the vibes are too loud.
