this was one of the saddest games I watched
I mean this L is a good thing. Maybe AKME will wake up from their slumber and finally make some actual changes. Hopefully we don’t have to listen to a “we’re good but we just came up short” excuse anymore.
We might have seen how good this team can be in that game against the Hawks, but we’ve also seen what this team lacks in this Heat game. Despite the effort they showed, it clearly shows that it’s not enough. We’ve seen the direction they can build to and what they need to improve from. Hope AKME makes significant, meaningful, relevant changes. They’re trippin’ if they still think they can win with this lineup.
I understand Coby and Ayo’s struggles in this game. Heat is just a better defensive team than Hawks. There are moves here where they would’ve scored if it was against the Hawks. After how they showed up against the Hawks, you already know Spo’s gonna have a gameplan. BD on the other hand tho?
Billy Donovan rant:
Why the hell was there a Coby-Ayo-Terry-Javonte-Caruso lineup in this game? Wtf was BD trynna do? The coach is supposed to put them in a position to win. In what world did BD see that lineup could go against a lineup that has Kevin Love, Jovic, and Jaquez in it.
Javon Carter and Torey Craig were integral parts of Bucks and Suns when they were there, but not here. Carter used to kill us when he was with the Bucks. Drummond can still perform at a high level but we don’t see that get used here often. Wtf is BD doing here.
He had Markannen, but they got rid of him. He became an All Star with the Jazz. He had Gafford, but they got rid of him for some bag of chips. Gafford is now an important piece on that Mavs team. Oh and don’t forget DJJ too! We have all seen the difference in this team with and without Javonte. Coach is not THE problem overall, but he is AN IMPORTANT, CRUCIAL problem.
This is a comment I had on your video after the pre-season:
“With Coby continuing showing improvement, Pat being aggressive (hopefully throughout his career at this point), Ayo showing improvements, Demar maybe embracing his veteran role, Zach being healthy, you know what you’re getting from Vooch, addition of Carter and Craig, if this team still doesn’t perform well this season I’m blaming the coaching staff for not getting the best out of this lineup well. Although players still have to execute, I’m worried BD might still struggle with his lineup down the stretch.”

Demar was the only one that showed up. The only professional on this squad is about to be 35 years old. He should NOT waste the last years of his career trying to help an orginization that is unhelpable. He deserves a chance at a title, and now he will have his opportunity somewhere else. To Hell with the Chicago Cows.

I'm warming up to a rebuild, the team as it is is going nowhere but failed Play In's over and over again, they can't even make it to the Playoffs, Just plain Mediocre
Vuc shouldn't spend 1 more minute on this team. Guy is so slow-footed, plays negative defense, constantly laying bricks at the rim. If he's not scoring every other possession its just bad to have him out there.
I’ve lost a lot of hair watching the Bulls play this season 😂 and if the front office decide to run it back with no off season changes I will boycott the team…….i no longer blame the Coaches or Players they are who they are….this is an organization failure

Honestly it didn't feel like the Bulls came out complacent or soft. It looked for all the world like they just weren't able to deal with the hard physical defense of the Heat. They played with heart, but they just never had the ability to spar with a team like the Heat. Coby and Ayo proved all season that they are easy to stop if you just stay in front of them and play physical. They couldn't get into the paint at all without being smothered and without shots going down that basically ensured that they would just get shitty lay-ups.
A thing to keep in mind is even if AKME planed to trade everyone and start over they can't actually say that out loud. Not only is their job to sell tickets and get fans to come to games the league would force Jerry to fire them if they openly admitted to tanking. You're not allowed to announce your intentions to suck. Silver will step in if you do. It's a bad look for the league overall.

There are 3 ways to describe a team:
1. You’re a contender
2. You’re a middle of the road team that just needs a few more moves to make it that contender leap.
3. You’re a rebuilding team.
The Chicago Bulls? They’re in NBA purgatory. They have zero idea what team they are and it has been like this for 10 years or at least after D Rose got hurt. All this front office does is sign old aging players that are not leaders you use for a championship, and draft players that don’t make sense at all. DeMar, Lavine, Vuc experiment has been dead and drafting Patrick Williams has been proven to be horrible. I’m basically done with this team if they bring back the same team. I don’t mind a rebuild. But at least have a direction.

I hate scripted matches like these, I think they just wanted a match between the Boston and Miami
Finally!!! First order of business… Derozan and Williams followed by FA. I expect LaVine to be in a Bulls uniform for the first half of the season given that he’s coming off of surgery. All eyes are on Ball, the Drummond decision will be based on Derozan and Billy should most definitely be on the hot seat next season.
Bulls Needs: Can’t miss in this years draft, PG, Rim Protector and a Two Way or 3 & D Wing.
I heard rumblings about Jones out of NOLA for Derozan this season. McDaniels from the Timberwolves also had a ton of interest from literally half of the league. Either one of those players will put the Bulls back to being top 5 in defense if they get rim protection. Having either one of those two along with Caruso will match up well defensively against the Knicks (Drunson & Randle) and Boston (Tatum & Brown). Bulls still need rim protection for Giannis, Embiid and Bam but their shooters will have to earn their buckets. We’re not serious about making a deep playoff run until these needs are addressed in the East.
Coby White and what to watch… I’m curious if he can take another leap this offseason and if he does, watch out. Brunson just had a MVP caliber season but I honestly don’t see too many that can go bucket for bucket with Coby IF he takes the type of leap Rose did during his Team USA offseason. If Coby manages to become automatic from three (shot selection) and get to the line with ease (like the game we just seen not too long ago) he’s going to be a problem. Coby just can’t be the main PG moving forward and the Bulls need to put a better roster around Lavine (until he’s traded) and White. The goal would be to form the best young backcourt in the East IF the Bulls trade Lavine and one that complements White defensively but can also get a bucket… The first person that comes to mind is Murray from the Hawks who’s name has also been mentioned the past two seasons.
If Ball isn’t who he once was prior to surgery then the perfect replacement would be Murray who plays defense and is a true PG. Murray would have to improve on his three ball as Ball is the better shooter from three.
I feel like MJ and Jerry Krause lowkey cursed this franchise forever. Both their egos ended up destroying this franchise after the dynasty ended

When I learned Jimmy Butler was a no-go for the game I actually expected the Bulls to win this game. There was no way the Bulls would lose to the Heat without Jimmy. But did they prove me wrong. Wow. They're terrible. Jerry reinsdorf is a joke

Two things NEED to happen and there are several that should.
1. Billy Donovan needs to go back to college ball, hopefully the Bulls replace him with a quality NBA head coach in that event.
2. Zach and Vooch need to be moved for the best return possible.
The Bulls' X's and O's aren't all that good, but they also have some personnel that don't have the mental fortitude to win a ring i.e. Zach and Vooch. Lonzo is clearly not physically able to help. DeMar is still a good number 2 option, Coby is a great tertiary option, but they need a leader. They're not gonna get one by trading Zach and Vooch though. All that to say, it's probably time they go the rebuild route and abandon trying to make this lineup work. Coby, Ayo, P. Will, AC, Javonte and Drummond I'd keep. Send DeMar to the best possible destination for a ring and everyone else we get the best deals available for them.
Vooch is the worst defender in the league. He is the soul reason they suck this badly. His double doubles mean nothing if he can't play defense. He lets anyone drive to the basket. Then Big Cat sits on the bench. No stars on this team.
No, no sir. I will agree with that the Bulls effort was pathetic only at the beginning of the game. For most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters the Bulls defense was stellar, but their shots weren’t falling in due to the fact that let the Heat get a big lead and they were playing desperate. I mean not even coaching is to know that if you want to get in the playoffs you need to come to the game hungry like a effing wolf. I feel like it’s a combination of a coach that gets in people’s faces and bad attitude from some of the players.

Bad effort from the Bulls no doubt. But this the way they been all season........to say they don't need need a player like Levine is no doubt because to depend on Coby and Demarr every every game makes no sense. These lost results in the fact you can't depend on two players every game. Need a third scorer that really has been the problem all season..........some changes need to be made but if Levine can come back healthy and can fit in would be great and if PWill can keep improving and be a factor will be great and if Ball can come back and show that he can be factor would be awesome. Overall can they be a better team next team it's a possibility.

Focus on building a team around Zach LaVine and Coby White. They have great chemistry, and with the right supporting cast, they can be a real force. They need to make alot of smart trades to find players who complement their strengths. Get over Derozan, Get over Vooch. trade everybody except LaVine and White, and get a new Coach.

Honestly, I’m just glad this season is over. This was a tough year to watch. Mainly because they made zero adjustments in the off season. And they did nothing at the trade deadline. It was cool seeing Coby and Ayo grow. But this organization as a whole is a mess.
Zach should’ve been traded last year. We should’ve gotten pieces that improved the team overall. We should’ve gotten shooters. But no. We just love being mediocre.

You can make all the excuses you want but this is not a very good team and AK has done NOTHING to improve it. VUC was a horrible trade from day one most Bulls fans said this guy is an all star and a walking double double. Then when you realized he was horribly slow on defense and had no motor we went out and extended him for 20 Million a year for 3 years. Worst trade since Pace traded up for 10 and that’s saying something. This team has absolutely no heart with the exception of Caruso and everybody realizes even when you play like hot garbage you’re going to start the next game.

When DD is your best 3pt shooter for the night you know you are in trouble. Our 3 guards were 6-25 less than 25% 3pt. I knew Caruso was going to be off and Coby you don't know which Coby is showing up....Buy Ayo Caruso gave it a try and was disappointing -33 worse on the team. I feel bad for DD who gave it his all. The Heat made sure he wasn't going to beat them by swarming all over him. The team player that he is he passed the ball unfortunately the guys missed. Maybe they just didn't want to play the Celtics and get slaughtered....Anyway the boys played better basketball without Lavine and PW. Counting these 2 games the Bulls finished 35-30 so I give them some credit for not quitting.... Now that's it's over going to miss my comments.

Against good teams Alex Caruso defense & Coby and Ayo offensive productions have been exposed as not so good Vooch as well he's garbage against the good teams time to rebuild & start over from scratch including with a new coach
