What is worse, us that for the Board to comply with his Family Leave, he would have to admit his guilt. He was forced to say, on record, in front of court officials "I killed this cop." But often screen writers don't know much about the systems they are writing about, and often rely on Wikipedia to fill in their gaps.
Fun fact it's in the constitution and the words of the founding fathers that if you commit a crime bad enough (i.e. murder) you lose your rights. Even if, in the show, he was innocent the "prisoner rights" board should know he had no rights.
What part of the constitution are you talking about? Cause the articles had nothing to do with individual rights, only establishment of a functioning government (3 branches) , and the bills only exist to defend the individual rights and reserve the unenumerated rights of the citizen and individual states. Give me an article and section and if it says that I will gladly admit I’m wrong
No. So at the time of our founding prisons we're holding pens where you were held until trial at which point if you were found guilty there were generally 3 results. You died, you were given indentured servitude of a set amount of years, or you given a massive fine. The idea of long term servitude is only recent. So the only way that you're correct is that if the crime was severe enough you would be executed.
I believe it's a good thing that criminals have rights, because taking those rights away is the first step to tyranny. All it takes after is for the government to find a reason as to why groups of people or certain individuals classify as criminals
B.P. vests weren't full standard issue just yet. And the early 90's models couldn't do shit for anything past a 10mm. And I think that gun was a .40 cal.😢
@@austinjones9276 10mm and .40 cal are about the same in terms of diameter but most things I've read tell me 10mm is going a might faster. So, the vest should have stopped it. FYI: .4 inches is 10.2mm
Can’t remember the episode but it was the warden who ordered it. The warden though managed win in court he was handed over to the Russian gang cuz he also killed a member of the gang.
REALLY!?!??🤬 Not "OMG, THAT POOR MAN WAS WRONGFULLY CONVICTED AND SUFFERED FOR ALL THESE YEARS!!"😭 ...Just straight to "MY PROBLEMS STILL NOT SOLVED.."🤨🤔🤦 I cannot stand ppl like that!!...smh...
Also she should have said "I have been campaigning to keep an innocent man in jail for 10 years." then to her daughter "I am so sorry for taking your daddy away from you", but screen writers in America don't seem to be able to write real people. Just look how people talk on phones in tv shows.
It's was the warden who has something to do with it.
Lauren's delivery is so gripping. Absolutely draws you into her frame of mind.
So the man spent 10years in jail for a crime he didn't commit? Awful
Ill call it normal this happend alot. Cops arrest innocent people all time

I'm pretty sure he did confess to it. He was paid to take the fall.

I’m a co an nope I wish that was true but inmates do have rights limited . I honestly hate it .
@@nicholasleon787a cop that wants inmates to have 0 rights. That sounds about correct

Was that like the first police officer in history that was not wearing his vest all the time?
I think it was in the 80s or 90s. Not all cops wore vests then.

Yes after Fire she starred in Lucifer
Of course the Black guy would be framed

There’s always bias with family. She believed what she wanted to believe.

Maybe watch the show before making stupid comments ❤️

Corrupt cops, like father, like daughter.

You clearly didn't watch the show.
When liberals run prisons 😅😅😅
It's a bloody TV show. Amazing how you can't step away from insulting political speech. You made hating others your personality.
