The more we have diversity the less our own youth find jobs that our youth should be doing. I have been to many fast food restaurants that no one there looks like me. But when a minority walks into a restaurant where no one looks like themselves they use the race card and say they are not respected.

As a Canadian First Nations person, I think all people coming into this country must pass some sort of "smell" test to ensure we are allowing people into our country that agree and support the Canadian system. I'm not saying they can't practice their culture. We of all people know what it is like to have our culture taken from us. Most importantly, our immigration policy must follow our ability to house, employ, and care for these people. Liberals obviously dont care about anyone's quality of life, but their own!

I believe they gave people living in that area $2,500 each for the inconvenience of having to put up with all this traffic. I don’t think we heard much about Roxham Road After that. The government did close that border after a while but left open plenty more areas. All this was because our illustrious PM sent out an invitation after Trump wanted to sort the situation in the States that they were all welcome here and here they came so really the States are as guilty of letting their unwelcome people come to Canada. However, if we had a government with people who actually knew what they were doing it wouldn’t happen. Worrying about the shorter term risks of bringing potential terrorists in is short-sighted. Notice the forest through the trees. People from these cultures can only integrate into Canada if they come in extremely small numbers. If they come in large numbers, they create parallel cultures that begin competing with the greater whole.
None Christian citizens can never integrate into Canada because we are a Christian country with Christian values and Christian holidays.
I agree however I think this intervention is designed to create a crisis in the short run. If terrorism becomes a genuine risk, it’s very easy to impost a surveillance state because people will beg for one, the same way many begged for one during COVID. I think Trudeau’s rhetoric around Canada being Islamophobic is a way to stoke victimhood in this population and encourage more extreme activities as quickly as possible.

My bigger concern is the northern border. We have little to no defence from Russia up there. I’d love to see it lined with a lot of bunkers and 4-5 more bases. The border concern on terrorists can be solved by dealing with the immigration issue, that’s not to say there would never be a home grown terrorist, but that threat is cut back to what it used to be, which is manageable, if we just handle the immigration issues.

My immigrant wife and I went through years arranging her Landed immigrant status. We have a Canadian daughter together. It is insulting to real immigrants to have illegal immigrants jump the cue. There is a process. We went through it, even with my wife very strong ties to Canada. Immigrants do not like illegal immigrants pouring in.
