Early morning @ NUNEATON was mega busy at times. 25/01/24

- You will tell when you watch this video how busy I was having to change platforms so much as not to miss any freight trains.
There was a time when it did get so manic and I missed a southbound freight as I couldn't be in two places at the same time.

Well yes Ricky its a very good station to see lots of workings, I don't real know why I only go there on early morning, never hardly go during the day.

Agreed, I did 22 years on nights and it was good to just get on without "worried " management spoiling the atmosphere 😊

Truly magical night and day filming Mike! Fantastic catching a double 92 there, that cant be a normal practice! Well i was getting concerned as we got to half way and no Redsheds! Then one appeared, so your forgiven haha. Always great catching old Pinkie 587.Hope you had a full monty after all that hard work, certainly deserved it! Nick mate thanks so much for your great comment, no I didn't have time to get a full monty that day, I do remember getting something in the afternoon with a cuppa.
I was happy to have go 66587 again on film as its been a long time since I last filmed that loco.

Not mate not this time, I'm not happy with that cafe as when I've had a sausage sandwich there you get salad with it.
Awesome video Mike, all that platform swapping keeps you fit mate lol. The late running sleepers were due to flooding north of Pitlochry on the Highland line, hence the diversion via Aberdeen. Yes this hobby does keep me fit which is good because when the time comes to using the lifts I will miss some train I think.

Some fantastic footage here, I'm not a morning person so I don't know how you can manage such early mornings, even getting up at 6 for the ELR Diesel Gala today was almost too much for me 😂
It is easier in the summer months but then sometimes I have get up at three in the morning.
Hope you enjoyed the gala at the ELR, I must try and get back up there this year.

I arrived on the first train at 05.50 Matt.
I believe other enthusiast have had problems at certain times of the day at this station but I never have.

Good video i like it at Nuneaton it has been a few years since i went there .
Well mate you know all about Nuneaton, thanks for giving a watching.
Nuneaton was never the same after the powers to be refused to renew the lease for that lovely cafe that used to be on platform 1. Used to drive down very early from my home,grab a bacon cob and wait for the southbound sleeper and northbound Tesco.
Yes Michael there is always someone out there changing things which most people like or enjoy, I do remember that cafe you are on about.
There is a cafe back on platform one again but its not a patch on that old one.
