Seems you have been bitten by the early morning bug. Lol 🤣. Something about trains in that early morning peace. I can still feel it after all these years. 👍👍👍👍
Well Robert as I only go out once a week all day I have to make the most I can of the day. But you are right early in the morning is special I agree. Mike.
Cracking place to film 🎥 , all good stuff, especially the 88 and the much underrated 92s , more chance of seeing "Stevensons Rocket" on a Freightliner through Poynton nowadays 😂 , thanks for sharing your Film Mike 😊👍ps, glad you were under cover 👍
Thank you Ian, yes indeed it was a bit wet at times. We are very lucky in the Midlands for seeing freight trains, I feel for you mate in your area. You take care Mike.
Truly magical night and day filming Mike! Fantastic catching a double 92 there, that cant be a normal practice! Well i was getting concerned as we got to half way and no Redsheds! Then one appeared, so your forgiven haha. Always great catching old Pinkie 587.Hope you had a full monty after all that hard work, certainly deserved it! Relentless freight action and really enjoyed, cheers Nick.
Nick mate thanks so much for your great comment, no I didn't have time to get a full monty that day, I do remember getting something in the afternoon with a cuppa. I was happy to have go 66587 again on film as its been a long time since I last filmed that loco. Cheers Mike.
Awesome video Mike, all that platform swapping keeps you fit mate lol. The late running sleepers were due to flooding north of Pitlochry on the Highland line, hence the diversion via Aberdeen. Nice to get a double header though. Thanks as always for sharing your great footage Mike, have a good weekend, regards, Colin.
Thanks for the info Colin, I knew it was flooding but wasn't sure where. Yes this hobby does keep me fit which is good because when the time comes to using the lifts I will miss some train I think. Have a good coming week mate, ATB Mike.
Well yes Ricky its a very good station to see lots of workings, I don't real know why I only go there on early morning, never hardly go during the day. Thank you for giving this one a watch, regards Mike.
How dare you not be in two places at the same time!!! Only joking, there is nothing bad to say about this video, great location, great camera work, superb, thanks for sharing, best wishes, John.
No worries John about being in two places, as you can tell from the video there was a few times I had a bit of a run to get to another platform in time. Thank you very much for you kind words about this video. Regards Mike.
@@antman09ful1 I was watching a video from Sykarost and yours (most enjoyable too) seemed to overlap and as I made my comment to Brian your video was there when I hit enter! I guess you are a Midlander as I am. I was at Saltley during the 60's/70's transition period, so follow vids from my old stamping grounds. Many thanks. Gordon.
Some fantastic footage here, I'm not a morning person so I don't know how you can manage such early mornings, even getting up at 6 for the ELR Diesel Gala today was almost too much for me 😂
It is easier in the summer months but then sometimes I have get up at three in the morning. Hope you enjoyed the gala at the ELR, I must try and get back up there this year. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Splendid shots and captures there Mike. Nice sounds and liveries. Good action and variety. I do like Nuneaton expect there is almost nothing on the station which surprised me haha. A lot of platform changing keeps you moving all day there. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best!
Nuneaton was never the same after the powers to be refused to renew the lease for that lovely cafe that used to be on platform 1. Used to drive down very early from my home, grab a bacon cob and wait for the southbound sleeper and northbound Tesco.
Yes Michael there is always someone out there changing things which most people like or enjoy, I do remember that cafe you are on about. There is a cafe back on platform one again but its not a patch on that old one. Cheers for watching my video.
I arrived on the first train at 05.50 Matt. I believe other enthusiast have had problems at certain times of the day at this station but I never have. Thank you for your interest in my video.
Yet another fabulous selection, especially enjoyed the 70 and seeing the beds come through...
Thank you, as you can see in the video I just about got the beds.
Busy selection from your visit. Great stuff
I don't mind doing you local mainline station in the mornings
Seems you have been bitten by the early morning bug. Lol 🤣. Something about trains in that early morning peace. I can still feel it after all these years. 👍👍👍👍
Agreed, I did 22 years on nights and it was good to just get on without "worried " management spoiling the atmosphere 😊
Well Robert as I only go out once a week all day I have to make the most I can of the day.
But you are right early in the morning is special I agree. Mike.
Well done Ian I hatted night when I was working shifts.
@@antman09ful1 I hated afternoons. Not enough time to do anything in the morning, and bed time when you got home. Grrrr

Yes you are right Arnold, a few days before I filmed 587 I watched a video on the B & H and it had failed. Cheers Mike.
Well, Nuneaton has to be the station to be. Soo much variety at this station. Outstanding video Mike :-)
Well yes Ricky its a very good station to see lots of workings, I don't real know why I only go there on early morning, never hardly go during the day.

Super footage from your busy visit. I hope you had time to go to Jenny's cafe by the bus station for a breakfast? 🙂
Not mate not this time, I'm not happy with that cafe as when I've had a sausage sandwich there you get salad with it.

Its a very good place to go but twice a year is about enough I think Jamie.
Thank you as always for your continued interest in my videos. Mike.
@antman09ful1 Yeah Mike, it is good but I'd say there needs to be more on the platforms haha. Never a problem! Jamie
Great video Mike :)
Nice.
Did well to get all that on film. 👍👍
Thank you David, I was rushed of my feet at times, Mike.
Nice Vid Mike. How long were you filming at this location ? Start and end time ? I am amazed by your endurance 👍 great stuff
Arrived by train at 05.50, then departed at 08.45

Amazing catch on the double 92 pulling the sleeper 😮
Yes I just got over the platform to get that one James, cheers for watching.
Great video. What camera did you use?
Cheers and thank you for watching, I was using one of my Panasonic HC-X920s camcorders that is all I can remember Phil.
