Let Ruto, not feel that he was not heard! He spoke eloquently as he is good at it. He also said very good things of what he has managed to achieve and his concerns over the tax bill. He however needs to understand his audience, this was not a time to show strength, but was a time to show compassion. Another point is that majority of his good ideas are surface based and don't trickle down to the people. His ministers appoint people of their tribe regardless of qualifications to excecute his initiatives and in the end Ruto fails to deliver. Ruto needs to realize that he can't run the country by himself, and its very important to have competent people working for him. Kenyas dept can be fully paid quickly with the corruption money in parastetals, and other government agencies. Ruto should not fear getting people who are able to tell him the truth, the "yes sir people" are the ones that got us to this mess. Now the Gen Z are doing the work of the parliament while they are on recess, and getting paid.

He said in the interview that Kenyans will see the criminals who vandalized mali za watu an parliament waki prosecutiwa. And that also the military police that fired live bullets to innocent Kenyans on the streets will be dealt with. Since we all saw vile waliskiza two weeks ago mpaka wakatoa some things kwa bill after demonstrations kabla wareject, why can't we wait to see if he does the additional things he said he would cut down from MPs salaries, president's office salary and his spouse, etc? Ruto was never a perfect man or President and we all make grave mistakes sometimes and I am sure we deserve second chances. If this man truly did the mistake he did thinking he had good intentions we owe him the benefit of doubt. Why should we throw in the towel on him at his first big mistake? We at least owe him this term to see if he does the things he says he will do like he already did some from the rejected bill. Either way kama by 2027 Kenyans will still be feeling the same way, mtamtoa tu. Kwani? And whoever came up with the notion that ati ancestral land tax ilikuwa kwa bill an alisema it was never there? He actually said there some things that were fake news about what was in the bill which included land tax. So should I now think there were people who were being used by opposition party to start a mess that was never supposed to be a mess? I will say I never read the bill but was supporting and listening to majority of GenZs and now it turns out there were some things that were lies spreading about the bills. How? For me after listening to his entire interview I think his heart was in the right place wanting the bill to go through but he was not thinking rationally about how much it would hurt Kenyans to overtax and even tax at all any everyday commodities used by Kenyans. I think he didn't think that through. But I don't think he intentionally wanted to harm Kenyans. I think he was thinking about how Kenya can reduce the national debt that is over 10 trillion ksh. which is crazy and has accrued from the last president. So I would give him a chance to see if he actions the immediate things he said he would fix and then have the dialogue with him on how to move forward with ideas about clearing the national debt cause it seems right now we only have two options. Either taxing ourselves or keep borrowing until we sell kenya as collateral. Which would be the saddest thing on the planet. I am sure maybe Kenyans may have other ideas. Why don't you engage with the President as he is asking for that for the first time in the history of Kenya? I like what Korea did as a country to pay off its debt. Yes Ruto and his administration to explain better what the country is going through. They could have done better than that but we are here now. Where do we go from here? Kick him out of office? What good will that do right now? Ruto will not go home with the current national debt. we shall still be in the same debt whole. soo...... I mean.....🤷

This man just makes it hard to listen to him. Ruto is a pyscho and is not fit to lead a country.
