Awesome and great reaction of yours!! and the most respect to Judas Priest, and to such a great band like Lovebites. Priest must be proud of this cover as made their song as such a great sound. This is the best performance and the best version IMO.
There are covers and then there's this. HARUNA has simply mastered power/thrash metal. The pure fury from start to finish on this was the most intense yet from her and this completely explains the level-up in her peddle work she displayed in NAMELESS WARRIOR. The M^3 guitar renditions were the cleanest I've ever heard and MIYAKO and MIDORI adding their signature touches just makes this the best cover ever IMO. Lastly ASAMI...damned if she didn't outdo herself too. She absolutely did this song justice and the harmonization with the guitars with that final flurry from HARUNA at the end gives me chills 🤘🐺🤘
Yep, gotta say this is probably the most on point cover of a song i've ever heard. It's unlikely, but I hope they play it live as an encore, it would bring the house down ! 🤘🐺🤘
Im not super familiar with the original but i loved this one! Haruna like you said has been getting faster no doubt. On Dystopia Symphony she's already going pretty fast. Let's see what she will bring in the future!! Asami killing it, really enjoyed how she went about it!! Miho, Miyako and Midori, absolute killer renditions, kind of expected to be honest, knew they would slay it!! 🤘🐺🤘 You are right Brandy, this live would be AWESOME!
Our Goddesses never disappoint! 🤘🐺❤💚💙💛💜 They killed it !🤘🐺🤘 I like the additonal squeals by MIDORI🎸💚💚💚 and what a vocal performance by Asami❤! Last but not least : Haruna murdered her drums on this cover!💛 🥁
What I love is how they just slay everything they do. In this case, they didn't change much but they upped the octane level, which is nuts given that Priest co-invented high octane. And truth is, M&M are cleaner and more on point with those shred solos.
I said a few years ago that they are the new Tipton and Downing - that has now been conclusively proven. They have surpassed them. KK is probably weeping into his Chai Latte as he continues to not let Priest go with dignity.
They really are! Especially since it’s not studio magic that makes them so good, they do it live for everyone to see. I am constantly amazed at their skill levels. All of them.
@@SixxDaze Agreed. I've always said you can tell how good a band is when you hear them live. Lovebites is actually better live than in studio. I've been completely hooked from the first day I heard them. And Midori-good lord, she's BEAUTIFUL as well as incredibly talented.
Well, I had to change my mind. The M&M team took shredding to a whole new level, even for Lovebites. Damn....I even like the metal scream now. Probably the most rocking song they have done! Asami holds that last note forEVER!!!
I just mentioned this with a friend of mine today. If I tried to rank Painkiller by Judas Priest, by Death and by Lovebites, I feel I would be doing a disservice to the band in general if I ranked any of them in third place. They're all so good.
For decades I've followed Megadeth as my No1 band. Seen them live, brought the merch, have signed autographs and a picture with Mustaine and Kiko. The Strange thing is...Lovebites are stealing my heart and very soul away from Mustaine and Co. Sort of feels like I'm cheating on my wife...Maybe the answer is Polygamy and I can love them both equally.
I totally understand. They are just so amazing! I actually restrain myself in my reactions because I don’t want to come off as fake. I really wanted to jump up and yell, “HELL YEAH!” I think you may have the answer to your dilemma.
@@SixxDaze love you're reactions just the way they are, very genuine. Not sure why I left it so late but have subbed. You never kno maybe LB will cover Megadeth one day.
@faintsmile88 That’s awesome. Thank you! When I first decided to do reaction videos, I wanted to be completely genuine; as I am in real life. There are enough phony channels out there.
i'm a megadeth fan also but a much bigger metallica fan. went to the big 4 show at yankee stadium. one of the best concerts i ever saw. but like you i would have to say lovebites are now my favorite band and i'm 66 years old. they have NO BAD SONGS!!!!
It gets to the point after listening to Lovebites as a metalhead that it's honestly hard to try to convince myself I still like bands like Slayer, Priest, Exodus, etc etc better than Lovebites because no way should an all female Japanese metal band be so phenomenal. I gave up trying. They are simply the best at what they do, bar none. One could say they have revived metal of the 70's and 80's. But that's not true. They took pieces of so many greats and made a sub genre of metal all their own.
BTW, sent you an email regarding another Lovebites song! It's under my z28flash name. Hope you feel like checking out the "other" side of Lovebites, and enjoy the coffee :)
Asami was awesome on this, however, not quite as good as Halford. BUT... Halford is untouchable so that doesn't really count. The drums, guitars, and bass: Lovebites > JP. Seriously, Lovebites played this better than JP. And I LOVE JP, I have many of their albums and listened to them a ton.
Ok, I was never a fan of the original song, so it's difficult to really appreciate this cover. To me, although her vocals must match up to the original, it's kind of a waste of Asami's vocal talents. I guess some would argue that it demonstrates her vocal ability, but the "metal scream" doesn't work for me. Probably a part of why I never enjoyed Judas Priest back in the day with the exception of one song. Honestly I almost feared she would damage her voice. In terms of musicianship, one can never argue with Lovebites, they all perform so flawlessly. But I have to say, if I never heard this song again, I wouldn't feel any pain, and that's kind of crushing since it is Lovebites.
Call yourself a metal head, this is the epitome of metal. Anthem if you like. Clean the wax or take out the cotton swabs from your ears. Then you might hear perfection and maybe even understand the concept of perfection. God man are you deaf or got tinnitus or something.
@Alex Thomas Everyone has an opinion. I find it odd when someone leaves a comment, like this one, and doesn’t say anything that they liked about the video. Just my opinion.
Faulkner and Sneap cant play the songs this well. Hell I dont think KK nor Tipton ever played live so well either. The difference is these girls sound exact and or better live. Its a proven quantity.
Awesome and great reaction of yours!! and the most respect to Judas Priest, and to such a great band like Lovebites. Priest must be proud of this cover as made their song as such a great sound. This is the best performance and the best version IMO.

METALHEAD: Metal is music played by older guys dressed in black with beer bellies and tattos.
LOVEBITES: Hold our lipsticks.

Nursery rhymes. Something's up Miyako is expecting a baby. Stay safe. Stay Lovebites.

Do we just look over the fact that at the end Asami holds that note for 25 seconds?
