Michael Kay is so interesting, so good at what he does, so informative, etc...but and I say this as a Yankees lifer...he is 100% a schill for Yankees ownership...and it's made worse that he pretends he's not 🤣

at this point I dont think its about being afraid of being fired or getting in trouble. i think he has his biases but I believe it's mostly because he grew up as a fan and once you land the dream job you always wanted that bias is only gonna grow

I get it, he's amazing and he's human, I'm not knocking him for that, and he saved a million more that we may have lost without him, but those were big ones to blow. If he had blown game 1 of the WS or something, that would be one thing, but he blew last inning, game 7 of the 01 WS. That is huge
Anyone else think Derek Jeter's stock has fallen the last few years? There were like some videos made highlighting how poor he was defensively and I think some ppl got turned off by it. They had this view of him as a super shortstop with the flip play against Oakland, and now it's like some ppl think it was all a mirage bc advanced metrics say he wasn't a good defender

Wish he would retire with Angel Hernandez. Or at least stop saying "See Ya". He just waits to say it and there is zero emotion behind it.
