The sedimentary rock cycle and weathering (by Mrs Ruault-Djerrab)

This video first presents the concept of the sedimentary rock cycle, which begins with the weathering of rocks on the Earth's surface and ends with sedimentation and then diagenesis, resulting in the formation of a sedimentary-type rock.
The video then details the first stage of this cycle, the alteration of rocks, giving definitions and then some examples in images.
This video has been put online for beginners in geology, in particular in License 1 and 2 at the University, or for high school students in science.

Playlist riche en enseignements. Je parviens mieux à cerner la classifications des roches sédimentaires (et leurs nombreuses dénomination selon l'angle selon lequel on les considère), et la manière de les analyser. Par ailleurs, j'ai beaucoup apprécié les analyses macroscopiques et microscopiques (pour ces dernières, n'ayant pas accès à des lames minces ni à un microscope polarisant, ce fut très enrichissant). Merci pour ces vidéos.
