It is your free will that Satan covets most of all and he will use every deceit to get you to hand it over to him. When souls do this, through the sin of pride, new age practices and the occult, they become enslaved by the evil one. He will then manifest, within the souls who hand him over their free will, every single one of his traits. You will know them by their behaviour. But the one sign that their free will has been given to the evil one is when these souls constantly seek to publicly mock My Son, Jesus Christ, and His Mother, the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of the World. I finished this book a few months ago and mmmmmaaaaannnn, my mind was blown! As a Catholic convert, I simply don't understand why the protestant movement basically erased Mary from the plan of salvation. It's actually sad to imagine how redacted the protestant religion is. I am so blessed that God gave me the grace to convert to Catholicism; Catholicism is the fullness of the truth and I am closer to my Lord and Savior than I have ever been. I don't make comments on the internet so much, but this dear brother has been a huge blessing to my life. I am still evangelical, I was raised as one, son of a Pastor, who always taught me to love all Christian traditions, and like this, I started to read more about the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church, which is the most important church -still- in my country, Chile, even though It seems to be very off, people don't go to mass as it was before, and many Catholics brothers don't know what they believe. For a while now, I know that the Eucharist is the blood and body of the Lord, I think I started to understand this in a historical way, but also during my times of prayers, the Lord show me that He is there, then I found the book of Dr Pitre about the eucharist which was a confirmation for me of that matter, I share this with my church and every day we are having more reverence to the Lord Supper. Now, maybe a few months started to realize the importance of Mary for the salvation plan of God, how she, by grace and her yes to the Lord, I want to learn more from her, before I was son against this kind of doctrine, but kinda now I see them more clearly, but it's not just an intellectual thing, it comes with peace in my heart. With regards to St. Paul saying "for All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" .When Jesus said to His disciples in John 16:32, "But a time is coming, and has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home. You will leave me ALL alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with Me". But John was at the foot of the cross, so truly God always makes an exemption and God will always makes Mama Mary exempted in all possible ways because God gave Her not so many many graces but Full of graces. All the possible graces God can give, He gave it all to His Mother.

@32:00 It got to be both---necessary and fitting. Necessary because of a very unique special grace at the moment of her conception; and fitting, as you said, because of her identity as a New Eve. To answer your objection which seems plausible but in reality not true. You see to begin with it was not Jesus who said that but St. Paul. But that's a minor mistake you made there. The major mistake you made there is that you reduce what is said there as if there is no exception. Let's see it this way: All men have sinned, thus condemned to death. This statement is true but we do know God made exception. We know, from a Old Testament, Enoch and Elijah didn't taste death but was taken to paradise. Similarly, even more convincingly in case of the radical unity between Jesus, the Son, and Mary, the Virgin-Mother, such kind exception logically acceptable. Indeed, exception is not the rule in our horizontal way being but from vertically from God's way it is the revelation of "grace and truth" (John 1). I pray, in His Holy Name, you come to see this beautiful and most sublime doctrine. God speed.
@Gerry Hagen I'll respond to you further but when I say Enoch and Elijah didn't taste death, I don't mean they didn't sin. I was pointing out the rule of exception. To give the gift of sinlessness to Mary is an exceptional act of His Divine Mercy by All loving n Most Good God. As we have been told n believe, "For God nothing is impossible." This gift of being free from sin is hinted at her being a Virgin before, during, and after the Birth of Our Lord.
@Gerry Hagen This I'll add. Mary didn't receive her sinless life not for her own sake. But for the sake of the end God has in mind which is for her not to pass the original sin which we receive when we were in the womb of our mothers. Mary was merely n fully participating in the Immaculate Conception of Her Son. It was not to make her another Saviour but to make her participate in the Work of Redemption as only a Mother can participate. We Catholics don't take away anything from what Jesus accomplished on the Cross. Rather thru her, we see and believe this great work of Mercy as she did and does. The goal is to be convinced like her, to be completely conformed like her unto Christ. There is no one better who has done that than her. She is and remains the first and foremost disciple of all believers because of this unique and exceptional gift of Mercy of grace and truth she received at the moment of Her Immaculate Conception. As for the Church Fathers took them 300 years, well it is the same thing that it took the Church Fathers to declare the core doctrine of Christianity i.e. the Holy Trinity. The deposit of Faith is already written n finished in the year 100 AD with the death of St. John the Evangelist. But human reason investigates and come to understand it later. Faith comes first, understanding comes later. So let's not assume we are smarter than the Church Fathers who were far more into the faith. If we want to see what we mean by being saved, the Blessed Virgin-Mother is the shining example of this faith which comes only thru hearing.

@Gerry Hagen Wow your logic incredible. First, the declaration of 1849 is never to make Mary a divine or transcendent. Never. Immaculate Conception never means making her equal with God. It just means she is free from sin and the reason is explained well by that gentleman on the video. Even Her transcendent nature is not as Goddess but in so far as she is "full of grace" to use the words of St. Gabriel who stands before the Thrice Holy God. Second, to compare Mary with Eve is exactly to say that she is a human being but faultless human being as that. The comparison is to show a direct contrast between the two. Understanding the sinlessness of Mary and her Immaculate Conception. All one has to do is really read and think through the second reading on the Feast Of The Immaculate Conception. It is stated in it that we all were chosen to be blameless and without stain before the world began. It says in Scripture that "500 of Jesus' brothers came to visit him". Did Mary have 500 sons and if so how many daughters? This is interesting, but as a Protestant theologian, can I point out that there are significant problems with the alleged 'typology' that is held to justify the doctrine of Mary's sinlessness. Now, I'm not against typology, but if we look at, for instance, how Paul portrays and contrasts Adam and Jesus in Romans, there is a different possibility that much better fits Irenaeus original argument than this 'typology of perfection'. In Romans, Jesus is greater than Adam because of the result of his (opposing) actions, not be being 'more of the same' And Irenaeus' quote is about direction of travel, not perpetual status. In the garden, the fall didn't happen until Adam himself, to whom the command had been given, ate. Eve was the initiator (humanly speaking, of course) of the trajectory to sin, but she did wrong whilst the world was unchanged, still good - it was only when Adam ate that the world changed in the Fall. Similarly, we have no need of claiming Mary was sinless or immaculately conceived to see her as the New Eve - it was her obedience at the point of receiving the message from the angel that undid Eve's action, and turned things around towards righteousness.

Contrary to what this video states, it is false to assume that any NT Jew, when hearing that Jesus was the new, or second, Adam, would have immediately asked, "Then who is the new Eve?" Such a claim is pure fabrication. And if this was such an "obvious" issue and some critical matter, Paul would have elaborated on the subject. He did not. He never referred to Mary as the new Eve. Modern Protestantism doesn't hold water especially on the directionality. Look as how split up the Protestant denomination is and how some of them are very in biblical due to out of context interpretation. The Book count itself has a spiritual message. Total books in the Protestant version is 66 ," man numbers"; in the promised Church it is 73 (Both means complete, this is referencing to biblical numbers). Since in the late 300AD and the canonisation of the bible, this was the only one that was dominant and was even ised spread across the globe with the help of the holy spirit. Dr Pitre is definitely a "Doctor of the Church" in the same way as St Thomas Aquinas et al! One thing that occured to me watching this, during Dr Pitre's explanation of Mary as the New Eve - I haven't read the book, and I expect that someone a lot more learned than me has already said this in a book or lecture somewhere, but; At the start of the story, Adam appears first and then Eve, who is "born" from Adam through the intervention (or involvement) of God. And then they sin together. In order to complete the cycle as it were, not only must the New Adam and the New Eve be together at the moment of our salvation (rescue from the Fall) just as Dr Pitre describes in this talk, but the New Eve must appear in the story first, and the New Adam be born from her body via the intervention (involvement) of God - thus the Virgin birth following the Anunciation where Mary is made pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Just something that occured to me watching this talk, that the "reversal" or "mirroring" of the birth of Eve from Adam and Christ from Mary, were the two "bookends" of the story of Humanity between the Fall and the Salvation. Probably wrong though, I am not a scholar at all!

No surprise John's amazing depth of understanding when you know he too had Mary to mother him up close and personal. Interesting how Mary had authority over servants in kitchen, why wasn't she mingling to find a suitable wife for her son? The St. Augustine quote at 29:40 seems to indicate that his exception in finding sin in Mary was out of deference to her son. It doesn’t sound like he knew as a matter of fact, but as a matter of courtly etiquette. The idea of Immaculate Conception, therefore, is not necessary to Christian faith, at least not based on the evidence here. It is the theological equivalent of bestowing flowers to your friend’s mother, or entitling the President’s wife as First Lady. Is the sinlessness of Mary a fitting foundation for further statements of faith? That case has not yet been made.

My dearest daughter, My Desire is that each one of you respond to the Call of the Most Holy Trinity at this time. The Power of the Blessed Trinity is beyond the interference of man and by the Grace of My Love, I reach out to humanity to declare the Truth.
Be not afraid of your Father, for I Am yours and you are Mine. All Power is in My Hands and I make great exceptions in order to unite the world. Many souls are indifferent to Me. They shun Me, deny My Existence and insult My Divinity by placing false gods, made of molten gold, before Me. All that is made of clay will be replaced by a renewed existence. Nothing on this Earth is eternal. Everything turns back into dust. All that is eternal is not of your world. I created man in My Likeness. I blew forth life and you were given breath and it is I Who will take it away. All begins and ends with Me and no man can or will dictate how I will unite My children. That task is Mine - not yours. My Plans to salvage souls - the good, the bad and the wretched, will not be destroyed. Damaged, perhaps, but never ruined, for all that I say will be and all that I desire will come to pass.
I know each of you, as you were born out of My Love. Whatever your circumstances, they evolved because of Divine Providence and there is a reason for everything. Those of you who do not know Me - you are also Mine, for I created you. You did not evolve from the species. To believe that, is to deceive yourself and serves only as a means, planted by the deceiver in your hearts, to deny Me. By denying Me, your Eternal Father, you deny Eternal Salvation. And by denying the Truth of My Existence, you will separate yourself from an existence of eternal glory.
All Mercy is Mine. I lavish My Mercy on those whose hearts are pure; who have love in their souls because they have allowed Me to enter into them. The main obstacle to receiving Eternal Life is the pride of humanity. Pride is the single biggest barrier to uniting yourself to Me. You may know Me, through My Son; understand My Word, but you do not practice what you have been taught. Love comes from Me. When there is pride in the soul, love dies within it and is replaced with hatred. Pride comes from Satan and it is abhorrent to Me, just as it is distressing.
Let Me love you by accepting My Word and the Gifts I gave the world through the biggest Sacrifice of My Son’s death on the Cross. I gave you life. I gave you Myself, through the Manifestation of My Son. I lowered Myself, in humility before you, in order to defeat the sin of pride. I taught you through the prophets. I gave you the Gift of free will but you abused it to satisfy your own lusts and desires. The Gift of free will has a dual purpose - to give you the freedom to choose, so that you do not come to Me out of fear, but out of love and to defeat the power of the devil. It is your free will that Satan covets most of all and he will use every deceit to get you to hand it over to him. When souls do this, through the sin of pride, new age practices and the occult, they become enslaved by the evil one. He will then manifest, within the souls who hand him over their free will, every single one of his traits. You will know them by their behaviour. But the one sign that their free will has been given to the evil one is when these souls constantly seek to publicly mock My Son, Jesus Christ, and His Mother, the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of the World. Satan despises both of them.
If, instead, you use the free will I gave you, for the good of your soul and to love one another, this is a powerful means by which to dilute the power of Satan. But, it is those souls who give to Me, through My Son, Jesus Christ, the gift of their free will, that give the most powerful gift of all. It will be through these souls that I will defeat the evil one and the means by which I can save the souls of those who have completely separated themselves from Me.
That is My Promise. I will save the souls of even the most hopeless cases because of the sacrifices of those who give Me this gift of their free will, through My Son, Jesus Christ.

I finished this book a few months ago and mmmmmaaaaannnn, my mind was blown! As a Catholic convert, I simply don't understand why the protestant movement basically erased Mary from the plan of salvation. It's actually sad to imagine how redacted the protestant religion is. I am so blessed that God gave me the grace to convert to Catholicism; Catholicism is the fullness of the truth and I am closer to my Lord and Savior than I have ever been. I am blessed to be a member of the church Jesus established!

So, I’d say the Sabbath of the Lord is Saturday. The Sabbath of men is Sunday.

I don't make comments on the internet so much, but this dear brother has been a huge blessing to my life. I am still evangelical, I was raised as one, son of a Pastor, who always taught me to love all Christian traditions, and like this, I started to read more about the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church, which is the most important church -still- in my country, Chile, even though It seems to be very off, people don't go to mass as it was before, and many Catholics brothers don't know what they believe. For a while now, I know that the Eucharist is the blood and body of the Lord, I think I started to understand this in a historical way, but also during my times of prayers, the Lord show me that He is there, then I found the book of Dr Pitre about the eucharist which was a confirmation for me of that matter, I share this with my church and every day we are having more reverence to the Lord Supper. Now, maybe a few months started to realize the importance of Mary for the salvation plan of God, how she, by grace and her yes to the Lord, I want to learn more from her, before I was son against this kind of doctrine, but kinda now I see them more clearly, but it's not just an intellectual thing, it comes with peace in my heart. May God bless all people who seek the kingdom of God before everything else. Thank God for Dr Pitre, and how he has developed his gif his "charis" is definitely an example to follow.

With regards to St. Paul saying "for All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" .When Jesus said to His disciples in John 16:32, "But a time is coming, and has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home. You will leave me ALL alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with Me". But John was at the foot of the cross, so truly God always makes an exemption and God will always makes Mama Mary exempted in all possible ways because God gave Her not so many many graces but Full of graces. All the possible graces God can give, He gave it all to His Mother.

I respectfully disagree. Sorry you missed the point. I merely correct one of his idea without taking anything away from his lecturer.
To answer your objection which seems plausible but in reality not true. You see to begin with it was not Jesus who said that but St. Paul. But that's a minor mistake you made there. The major mistake you made there is that you reduce what is said there as if there is no exception. Let's see it this way: All men have sinned, thus condemned to death. This statement is true but we do know God made exception. We know, from a Old Testament, Enoch and Elijah didn't taste death but was taken to paradise. Similarly, even more convincingly in case of the radical unity between Jesus, the Son, and Mary, the Virgin-Mother, such kind exception logically acceptable. Indeed, exception is not the rule in our horizontal way being but from vertically from God's way it is the revelation of "grace and truth" (John 1).
I pray, in His Holy Name, you come to see this beautiful and most sublime doctrine.

I'll respond to you further but when I say Enoch and Elijah didn't taste death, I don't mean they didn't sin. I was pointing out the rule of exception. To give the gift of sinlessness to Mary is an exceptional act of His Divine Mercy by All loving n Most Good God. As we have been told n believe, "For God nothing is impossible." This gift of being free from sin is hinted at her being a Virgin before, during, and after the Birth of Our Lord.

This I'll add. Mary didn't receive her sinless life not for her own sake. But for the sake of the end God has in mind which is for her not to pass the original sin which we receive when we were in the womb of our mothers. Mary was merely n fully participating in the Immaculate Conception of Her Son. It was not to make her another Saviour but to make her participate in the Work of Redemption as only a Mother can participate. We Catholics don't take away anything from what Jesus accomplished on the Cross. Rather thru her, we see and believe this great work of Mercy as she did and does. The goal is to be convinced like her, to be completely conformed like her unto Christ. There is no one better who has done that than her. She is and remains the first and foremost disciple of all believers because of this unique and exceptional gift of Mercy of grace and truth she received at the moment of Her Immaculate Conception.
As for the Church Fathers took them 300 years, well it is the same thing that it took the Church Fathers to declare the core doctrine of Christianity i.e. the Holy Trinity. The deposit of Faith is already written n finished in the year 100 AD with the death of St. John the Evangelist. But human reason investigates and come to understand it later. Faith comes first, understanding comes later. So let's not assume we are smarter than the Church Fathers who were far more into the faith. If we want to see what we mean by being saved, the Blessed Virgin-Mother is the shining example of this faith which comes only thru hearing.

Wow your logic incredible.
First, the declaration of 1849 is never to make Mary a divine or transcendent. Never. Immaculate Conception never means making her equal with God. It just means she is free from sin and the reason is explained well by that gentleman on the video. Even Her transcendent nature is not as Goddess but in so far as she is "full of grace" to use the words of St. Gabriel who stands before the Thrice Holy God.
Second, to compare Mary with Eve is exactly to say that she is a human being but faultless human being as that. The comparison is to show a direct contrast between the two. The former one who disobeyed the will of God and the latter one who didn't sought her own good. What is the similarity between night and day except they both reveal what time it is !!!

Regarding the "serpent's offspring" character of God's prophecy in Genesis, I believe it is not talked about here, but the Gospel talks about the "brood of vipers" who are the unrepentant and deceitful people whom Jesus encountered.
The line before the vision of the Woman Clothed with the Sun reads " I looked up and the Ark of the Covenant appeared A Woman clothed in the Sun and on Her Head a Crown of 12 Stars. She Mary is the real Ark of the Covenant.

*The Woman of Apocalypse 12 is the physical 12Tribes of Jacob/Israel as described in Genesis 37:9-10 -- Jesus is the SEED of the men of Israel -- Isaiah 65:9.* Mary can NOT be the Woman Apocalypse 12 because the Woman is ON EARTH during the last 3.5 years being persecuted by Satan -- Apocrypha 12:12-14.
The Ark mentioned in Apocalypse 11:19 is the actual Heavenly Ark in the Heavenly Temple, which the earthly Ark was patterned after -- see Hebrews 3:2,5 and Hebrews 9:23-24, etc.

Understanding the sinlessness of Mary and her Immaculate Conception. All one has to do is really read and think through the second reading on the Feast Of The Immaculate Conception. It is stated in it that we all were chosen to be blameless and without stain before the world began. Meaning the sinlessness of Christ and Mary is showing how we were all originally meant to be before the fall in the garden of Adam and Eve. We all were meant to be full of grace and holy individuals.

*MOTHER MARY -*
Mother Mary was specifically chosen from all human beings ever created. She was pure and holy because God had given her that grace for the purpose for which she was chosen.
Why was she pure and undefiled ? WHY this special privilege ?
God is holy and He chose to be born as a human being. How could a Holy God be born of someone who is defiled.
That's why Mary was given the special privilege of being pure and holy..... however this was not because of her own ability but God's special grace and favour for her role in Salvation History.
She had a very important role in the salvation of mankind ie to be the way by which God almighty could come to this world in the form of a human being.
This is an indisputable fact. However, in spite of her privileged position among all created beings she cannot be equal or equated to *"Mother of God".* This is a misnomer, a title given by Catholics.
*First of all you must understand that when Jesus Christ was on earth - He was both Man(human) and God at the same time!* something we cannot understand..... but nothing is impossible for God!
*"The Incarnation" - God in human form!*
*So Jesus was both - Fully God & Fully Man at the same time!*
Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ - *the Jesus who was Fully Man!* and NOT *The Jesus who is fully God.*
*So it is correct to say that Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ but it is incorrect to say that Mary is the "Mother of God".*
There's a subtle difference with a very different connotation which many may not be able to figure out.
Mary deserves our utmost respect and is a model of what ever Christian ought to follow - total obedience to the Word of God in a life of purity and holiness.
*Luke 1:38* Mary said, “Behold, the servant of the Lord; *let it be done to me according to your word.”*
Read her words carefully - Total obedience to the Word of God & total surrender in Faith. She accepted God's Word at a very great risk! It was a giant step of Faith for in those days if an unmarried woman was found to be with child, she would be stoned to death!
Even at the wedding feast of Cana listen to what Mary said to the people.
*John 2:5* His mother said to the servants, *“Whatever he says to you, do it.”*
Her instructions are given as clear as crystal. Mary said, *Follow whatever Jesus tells you.* (We are to live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.)
*She teaches us to follow the Word of God as she did in total surrender. Why??*
Jesus gives the answer in
*John 14:6 Jesus said, *“I am the way,* the truth, and the life. **No one comes to the Father, EXCEPT through me.*
The truth is revealed very clearly in the very words of Jesus himself - *He is the ONLY WAY to the FATHER - GOD ALMIGHTY!*
There's a reason why we can't go directly to God. Why?
*Romans 3:23* for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.
The Bible teaches that no man is free from sin. Even if we have small sins - we are sinners. Small or big we are sinners and no sinners may come into the presence of a Holy God. He will not even listen to us.
If you study these statements of Jesus Christ prayerfully you will understand the theological interpretation and significance.
*Isaiah 59:1-2* Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But *your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.*
Then how can we approach this Holy God in our sinfulness? Jesus is the answer. He loves us so much that He took the punishment for our sins on himself. He suffered and died a cruel death upon the cross in our place. He paid the price & He made a way for us to go before the presence of God. THAT'S WHY WE MAKE ALL OUR PRAYERS TO GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS. (In Jesus' name we pray. We come to God almighty in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. His precious blood has washed away our sins so that we can go to God in His name.( for we were unworthy due to our sins.)
*Romans 6:23* For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
*Jesus is our Savior, He is the only way to the Father - God almighty.* Only Jesus died for us, He took our sins on Himself and set us free that we may enter heaven and have eternal life with God forever.
*1 Timothy 2:5* *For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus*.
Read the above verse. The Bible very clearly teaches that *Jesus is the only mediator between man and God,* no one else, not Mary, not the saints, not angels or anyone else.
Anywhere in the Bible do you find people asking Mary to intercede for them to God? (I have clearly explained what happened at the wedding feast at Cana. Note Mary's words and follow them to be blessed.)
Mary's role in Salvation History is to bring God to earth in the form of Jesus Christ and be an example or model for us to live in purity and follow the Word of God in Faith.
N. B. At the wedding feast neither Mary nor anyone else had seen Jesus work a miracle. Then how did Mary know that Jesus could or would work a miracle in that situation?
She knew what the angel Gabriel told her -
*Luke 1:35* And the angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you: *therefore the holy child to be born shall be called the Son of God."*
She knew without a shadow of doubt that Jesus Christ was divine!

Why the title use the word "unveiling"? Sounds disrespectful, can't the author use "revealing" as in revelation?
I know connotations matter, but the word revealing means the same thing as unveiling. The original Greek word for the Book of Revelations was Apokolypsis, which means “unveiling.”
I think that you should just call non-Catholics (Catholic in the true sense) Protestants, No one is very Christian if they are against the Mother of God. Also, at the very end you should maybe say, "IF" we make it to Heaven. Amazing talk otherwise!
It says in Scripture that "500 of Jesus' brothers came to visit him". Did Mary have 500 sons and if so how many daughters? This is interesting, but as a Protestant theologian, can I point out that there are significant problems with the alleged 'typology' that is held to justify the doctrine of Mary's sinlessness. Now, I'm not against typology, but if we look at, for instance, how Paul portrays and contrasts Adam and Jesus in Romans, there is a different possibility that much better fits Irenaeus original argument than this 'typology of perfection'. In Romans, Jesus is greater than Adam because of the result of his (opposing) actions, not be being 'more of the same' And Irenaeus' quote is about direction of travel, not perpetual status. In the garden, the fall didn't happen until Adam himself, to whom the command had been given, ate. Eve was the initiator (humanly speaking, of course) of the trajectory to sin, but she did wrong whilst the world was unchanged, still good - it was only when Adam ate that the world changed in the Fall. Similarly, we have no need of claiming Mary was sinless or immaculately conceived to see her as the New Eve - it was her obedience at the point of receiving the message from the angel that undid Eve's action, and turned things around towards righteousness.

Listening to this reminded me that the only way to learn about the Bible and especially about Mary, is with traditional dogmatic theologians, even better if they are traditional Franciscans. This gentleman reads from a modern Bible and so the whole thing is muddled and most of it wrong. There's nothing like the Douay Rheims Bible, the Bible of the Catholic Church, of the great saints and theologians. In it you read it was the Woman who crushes the serpent in Genesis. Why do we grow old and die?
GOD did not want humans to die. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, were created with a perfect mind and body. They could still be alive today. This is clear from what God said to Adam about a tree growing in the garden of Eden.
God said to Adam: “The day you eat [from the tree] you will surely die.” - Genesis 2:17. This command would have been meaningless if Adam had been created to grow old and die. Adam knew that if he did not eat from that tree, he would not die.

What is the Resurrection?

Absolutely incredible to hear someone admit that the bible has no support for catholic heresy concerning Mary and then use extra biblical references to invent support for the heresies.
Contrary to what this video states, it is false to assume that any NT Jew, when hearing that Jesus was the new, or second, Adam, would have immediately asked, "Then who is the new Eve?" Such a claim is pure fabrication. And if this was such an "obvious" issue and some critical matter, Paul would have elaborated on the subject. He did not. He never referred to Mary as the new Eve. In fact, beyond the gospels, very little mention of Mary is made throughout the NT.

Modern Protestantism doesn't hold water especially on the directionality. Look as how split up the Protestant denomination is and how some of them are very in biblical due to out of context interpretation. The Book count itself has a spiritual message. One thing that occured to me watching this, during Dr Pitre's explanation of Mary as the New Eve - I haven't read the book, and I expect that someone a lot more learned than me has already said this in a book or lecture somewhere, but; At the start of the story, Adam appears first and then Eve, who is "born" from Adam through the intervention (or involvement) of God. And then they sin together. In order to complete the cycle as it were, not only must the New Adam and the New Eve be together at the moment of our salvation (rescue from the Fall) just as Dr Pitre describes in this talk, but the New Eve must appear in the story first, and the New Adam be born from her body via the intervention (involvement) of God - thus the Virgin birth following the Anunciation where Mary is made pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Just something that occured to me watching this talk, that the "reversal" or "mirroring" of the birth of Eve from Adam and Christ from Mary, were the two "bookends" of the story of Humanity between the Fall and the Salvation. Probably wrong though, I am not a scholar at all!

When jesus reminded her of what beginning his ministry would personally cost her, she went forth giving him to the public. I'm thinking they had much conversing and he had reasured her that he would not begin until she was ready.

The St. Augustine quote at 29:40 seems to indicate that his exception in finding sin in Mary was out of deference to her son. It doesn’t sound like he knew as a matter of fact, but as a matter of courtly etiquette. The idea of Immaculate Conception, therefore, is not necessary to Christian faith, at least not based on the evidence here. It is the theological equivalent of bestowing flowers to your friend’s mother, or entitling the President’s wife as First Lady. Is the sinlessness of Mary a fitting foundation for further statements of faith? That case has not yet been made.

The oldest-known text of a prayer to Mary is from around A.D. 250. It is in Greek, and calls Mary "Theotokos," which means "God-bearer." Catholics would know it from a Latin version called the "Sub tuum praesidium."
