Thank you! Most times I try and find a few references that will help me understand how things work in the environment. A lot of times I will stray from the reference, and I like to add my own unique elements/personality to the painting. The amount that I stray from the reference varies, but almost always I do at some point during the painting. A lot of times reference photos can be boring, or lack something in my opinion. To answer your second question, I use brushes that I’ve collected from artists such as Ayan Nag and Surendra Rajawat
