Totally agree with you they look like a joke trying to look like when they were young when in their 80's and 90's and if you use plastic surgery you are not aging well. In my country actresses age naturally because they are not judged for doing so and they feel good in their own skin and are loved for who they are not by how they used to look.

To live to be 90 years old is a great happiness. And be in good physical shape and look like that. It's amazing! most of them are remastered. It tells women that it's not okay to get old that you have to look young even at 90 and no one would look like this without plastic surgery. I feel fine with being old I had all the fun and joy I wanted and now all that matters is my granddaughter:)

I think most people are beautiful to someone (or more) sometime during their lives. Sadly, they are seldom told. Everyone seems hung up on the stunning beauty that gains public attention and notoriety, according to current cultural standards. The academic study of aesthetics proves very informative and opened up my thinking and perceptions, and I'm glad I took a university class on the subject.
@lk4871 The ladies here weren't once beautiful, they are still beautiful. Whether they have had help remaining so, is a perennial qupestion, but it truly matters not. It's true that they have attained great wealth and stardom as a result of their looks, and therefore, have had the funds available to take exquisite care of themselves that an everyday housewife of the same Era wasn't afforded and the yrs have taken their toll. What I find interesting is, no matter how much cosmetic intervention they may have undergone, the skin on their necks usually is not nearly as youthful as the skin on their face, and therefore hints, and sometimes screams that what you see isn't always the truth. Regardless, they are still legendary and beautiful.

I can't agree. Some aged well but most have been disfigured by plastic surgery and / or horrible make-ups. They should have donated all those thousands and thousands of $$$, they spent on treatments that were good for nothing. Okay, you only learn from (bad) experience, I guess.

A person who has enjoyed a full, happy and rewarding life will develop happy smile lines as the skin ages. A sour, sallow misanthrope will have that reflected upon their ageing face. This is so obvious to be almost a truism. I learned this from my 97 year old mother, a beauty in her youth and a giver all her life, much beloved in her community. Smile lines appear on her face as she sleeps.

She had and still got the looks, which is something most actresses can't even match with plastic surgery no matter what their age. Truly beautiful in every way.
