True, no question about it, but, if there's just a few rides you really want to ride in the rest of time you could spend watching shows are just walking around, one could argue that 49.95 + $140 is three to four times the price as well. If you have four standard visits worth of rides you want to take, it makes sense not to have to come back and spend the money on transportation time off work etc
Super informative! I'm going to Cedar Point for the first time in 16 years! Last time I was there Maverick was new! I was debating getting Fastlane Plus, but after watching this video it was a no brainer!
When my dad went last year he got a ride on everything with fast lane plus! Sadly I only rode the family coasters! But now I’m a enthusiast and I’m going to ride all the bigger coasters!
What day was this? We are going on a Tuesday and Wednesday at the end of July. We normally don’t do fast lane because we always go for 2 full days. But I think we’ll only have a day and half and with hotel check in and check out we’ll have even less.
I went this Wednesday without fastlane and rode the big 3 multiple times and rode every coaster except Wild Mouse and Corkscrew..longest line was Maverick at 65! Steve was 40 and Millie was 30 most of the day! Personally, Saturdays are the only day I'd buy fast lane!
Must have really changed some merge points since 2019. Magnum, Gemini and Wicked Twister were all maybe a half hour out, fortunately never needed Fast Lane for those.
They need to make the day lame more expensive and cap the sales because those fast lane lines get way to long and it slows the regular line because they have to reduce the ratio also at all parks with merge points especially on less busy days they should make a point of holding people at the merge point to let the fast lane save time I’ve been at kings dominion navy tuneswhere the line all day was ahead of the merge point for fast lane at twisted Timbers all day
It’s definitely worth it! Especially on days that its busy. We did the Fast Lane Plus on Monday (Juneteenth) and had close to half of the coasters ridden by 1 P.M. Last Monday was busy at the park. That’s without early entry and riding Maverick twice. For Maverick, there was an hour to hour and half wait and we did it twice in 15 minutes.
The merge points for the fast lanes at CP are just terrible. Its like a default 15 -20min wait where it mixes with the regular line. And that is on top of if there is a Fast lane specific line. Only Valravn and Maverick do the smart thing and take fast lane to the station like Kings Island does with every FL ride except Flight of Fear.
Maverick, Gemini, valravn, blue streak go straight up and raptor and rougarou go pretty close. SV and millie are the worst and gatekeeper is bad but not terrible
Hi! Hope you can help me! I am planning my first visit Friday September 27th this year, which I believe is Halloweekend at that point? Would you say crowds arent too bad around that time? We are definitely getting the fast pass to be safe but was curious what the difference is between fast pass and the plus?
Thanks for all of the great CP content. IMO Fast Lane Plus is a must if you only go to Cedar Point once or Twice a season. As a pass holder, I recommend FL+ on Thursday-Saturday. I did a day trip on Sunday June 25th, and rode every coaster (SV twice) with no FL+. The longest wait was an hour.
Fast lane people always ask how does it work. The answere is always the same people get to by pass the main line. My question is how it works as do they only let a certain amount of people in fast lane and a certain amount in main line? So is it a 4 to 12 ratio??
The line is just a separate line that anyone can enter as long as you have the correct FL bracelet. So technically the FL could get longer than the regular line not that this would really happen.
If it rains late in the day, past 5pm, STAY!!! because half the people leave and all the rides are less than half hour for the rest of the day and the park is open till 10 (11 on the weekend) through the 3rd week in August.
I agree with it if you going there on the weekends and it's doing May June and July but most of the time if it's after the school day is going into August on the weekdays I don't recommend it because it's a less of a crowd and that's depending on the day and the weather
Oh my god this video was so helpful, we are planning a trip to Cedar Point and many others, and I said that out of all the parks, we had to get a fast lane for Cedar Point, and this video proves it! From this video, I can definitely see how the money is worth it.
@@BeachcliffStudios yes I know I have watched lol, but I would like to see how it is this year. Because of the new changes with the fast lane and at the park. I’ll be heading there in about a month or so. Just wanted to see what it was like.
@@BeachcliffStudios I just don’t want more people in my fast pass line 😉. Think I saw you at the park Wednesday wearing a Pantheon shirt. Don’t see that often at Cedar Point!
Saving five hours seems clearly worth it. It's like getting 3 or 4 visits worth of rides into just one visit. No brainer.

You can email me if you’d like. Sometimes we can help with a little discount with FL

@@BeachcliffStudios Aw dang, thanks for the offer! I've already purchased it though :(
I always used Fast lane plus at all times, cuz of Millennium Force, Maverick, Steel Vegeanace, and Valravn.
When my dad went last year he got a ride on everything with fast lane plus! Sadly I only rode the family coasters! But now I’m a enthusiast and I’m going to ride all the bigger coasters!
Awesome. The family coasters are there to build people up to the bigger ones so mission accomplished.
Never been to cedar point, but this video helped a lot, thank you.
And doing those three months I recommend do sometimes a holidays and vacation days for a lot of people so I do recommend it most of the time
Great video!
Thank you

I don’t recall those being further back at any point.
As I continue to plan my September visit can you tell us which rides DO NOT have a FastLane?
Plenty of smaller rides don’t have it but only three major coasters including wild mouse, iron dragon, and mine ride
What day did you go on?
this video is from last year, we have no idea
@@BeachcliffStudios What has changed with Fast Lane?
Nothing really
Any idea what they were charging for FastLane Plus on this particular day?
Not sure since we have season long we don’t normally check.
$200 per person on Saturday
$180 on Sunday
how long were you guys in the park?
We can’t remember but it was most of the day
How much was CP charging for the fast lane plus?
We have season long so we’re not sure. Most days it’s around $115 I think.
I think it like 145.00 way to much
@@gardnetbush9768 that’s for Saturdays
It looks like prices just recently went up quite a bit. So that $115 is now gone
It varies by day. Was $139 on Wednesday.

We’re all for them selling less FL.
the ADA pass is free. just sayin
For people who qualify for it they can use that. But it’s not a FL because you still have to wait just not in line.

Fast Lane is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. I did it at Halloweekends last year and although it ain’t cheap it is sooooo worth it! Another great vid guys👍

These are good videos and very informative for people going to cedar point. I liked when you did this last year.
Yeah we figured we’d do an updated version.

Thank y’all for this, my first visit it exactly 1 week from today, I’m so excited, and I’m for sure gonna get fast lane
