Jerry Harway the thing about this anime is that the music is far unique than those you’ve pointed out, and this show actually shows more emotional feels than any of those (laughter, sadness, anger, relief), Samurai champloo is far 100x more better than the “bullshit” you pointed out, so do all of us a favor and shut the hell up.
One of the things i love about the character dynamics in this show is how every time its out of Jin's hands it falls to Mugen and his backward savagery 🤣

AstroPopo a lot of the original music was cut out probably due to budget or Internationale legal matters and I think the fancy pitch didnt make sense without the music so it got cut too. "Aurain dance" played a little but my favorite "Feather" is not in the English version of this episode. nor was "Fly"

And the spaniards kick their asses. Worth mentioning is the pirate forces actually included a lot of ronin (Ex-samurai) and the spaniards were heavily outnumbered.
