Thank you Mitch I am a complete Novice, and with your videos I have changed the variator and the clutch with success. I had to buy some tools but saved me a small fortune on labour costs. Phil. South Wales Uk
hello i have a question for you. why do we have to adjust valves in suzuki burgman 400 cc 2013 . what is the reason of doing that . i have suzuki and based on your answer i need to know if my suzuki need to do so
Hello! I have a Burgman 400 from 2009, which during operation has a vibration from 3000 to 3500 rotations per minute. Could you tell me what the problem might be?
@@MitchsScooterStuff 👋👋Mitch hello... I had read in description but , the large adjustable key that you use for the variator,at 44 seconds in the video, there is no link.. Thank you for your reply, very kind. 🤗🤗
Hello Mitch, you are doing awesome videos. I would like to ask your opinion about my 08 Burgman 400. I recently got the scooter, I think it makes Not normal noise from transmission. I would like to send you a video, if you could watch and may be tell me if it’s normal or not ( scooter has only 3500ml). Thanks in advance!
Hello Mitch, this video is awesome. very detailed and perfect dicribed. thank you. I was doing the same on my Burgman 400 K2 2001 today. But the nut on the clucth was very hard to get down. I used heat, I used freece, nothing helped. At the end I had to smash the nut open to get if off. Where did you get the blockage tool that you use in that video. In the amazon link that you posted about the clutch sleeve hub holder, that one is much smaller than the one that you using. I would like to have the long one too. you can use it much better on the burgman is seems. BR, Phantomelephant
Hi Mitch. My problem and then a comment/question at the end. My 2008 Suzi burgman 400 has what sounded like a belt slap at first that only made noise when I applied throttle but only barely if I applied throttle very slow, which over time seemed to come in regardless of how easy I applied throttle, to now makes the noise even when i start it up and idling, with no application of throttle. do you think it's belt slap or is there a bearing problem somewhere AND the noise sounds like it is toward the rear of the entire case, not in the front and/or maybe not near the middle. your help appreciated. NOW MY QUESTION/SIDE-COMMENT: If I buy the clutch tool you show will you get a commission? if so, i want to get it from your links.
Hi Mitch. I've sent you an email about this in the last couple weeks and if it is possible I'd love to hear from you and can even send you a video regarding the matter. Please let me know. Again, this sort of whining growling noise is at idle or sitting still and disappears the moment the throttle is increased and/or riding down the road. The belt slap I can identify but this is not a belt slap, it's sounds like a bad bearing and I've heard it in other Burgman's. Appreciate any help you can provide as I have two of these and the sound is only in the rear at the large hub so to speak. Thank you in advance and as I say, I've sent you an email about the matter also. Thanks . . .DrD

High five and a HUGE thanks for all of your Burgman 400 "how to" videos. You are my hero!!
Yay!! :)
Mate you saved my life thank you very much for this video and greetings from Cornwall UK
You’re welcome!! Ride safe! 🙏🏼
Thanks for these excellent videos Mitch. So much easier to use than the Haynes manual !
Hi Mitch,
good work! I have the same question as TheMilenkata. How turning the variator backwards influence the timing?
Great video as always. But I don't understand how turning the variator backwards affects the timing. Thank you.
Some elaboration on this would be nice. I dont think spinning either side effects anything at all.

What’s that attachment you have on the hub holder? Looks way nicer than the steel pipe I use.
Muchas gracias por los videos. Saludos desde el norte spain

Greetings from stockton California I have a Bergman 650 executive is it the same for 650 as 400 or is it more complex
Hey Johnny, 650 system is so different… nothing like 400
Отличные и очень понятные видео.
Mitch, I see you don't answer in newer posts, but i will ask. How many gr Dr. Pulley are better?
Hey, really just depends on rider’s weight and location… I use 23g, bit too heavy, my friend use 21g, like it best!
WHat do you mean by dont turn the variator or timing will be off ? what will hapen ?
And how the timing will be off if you turn the variator backward?
Right tools for the job and nice video!
Thank you!
Hi Mitch, where did you buy the pulley lock tool? Thank you. Andrew
