- ...an animatic? I dont even know if i can call this an animatic anymore-- but it's what usually what I call these type of videos. Oh well.
Anyway, wow, I'm weirdly proud of myself for finishing this!! This silly old video was in my WIP for like 3 years? (ಠ_ಠ) Damn. It's a miracle it even got to see the light of day.
The art style might be inconsistent since I literally took a 2-year break in between. It's so weird since it feels like I'm looking at someone else's drawings.
And the characters! Yu (the dumbass girl) and Fei, her friend who begrudgingly indulges in her weird skit during a rehearsal break.

@@whyamihere6702 A utaite is basically a person who covers these songs and has a big fandom base of Nico Nico Douga (basically Japanese UA-cam). The songs they cover are like vocaloid songs, if you know what is. Utaites have a big fanbase and they do streams and hold concerts and all that. They're basically celebrities over there in Japan.

@@emmamusick5888 I think the translation I'd go with in this context would be "to flip the script" or "to turn the tables"--they had the scenario and their roles all planned out and she changed everything last minute? - type thing. A variation on "Pull the rug out from under him" would work as well I think! but the literal translation is "reversal"
Some people say that "this is more natural", but in several parts, her "normal" sounds like anime to me

Read something similar before, it’s a manua tho. The guy and girl were a weird ass couple with such a great chemistry and humor. The girl grabbed the guy and asked for his number, guy agreed and asked him to be his girlfriend, and she agreed. They then picked petnames for each other from the shops they saw, panda and tarot haha. The manhua’s title is “Ooh La La” if anyone’s interested
