A super boat, and seems pretty good value (as far as boats go). Lots to love about it - the central helm, good cabin space, tons of room in the cockpit together with the airy lower galley/saloon. Having a wet heads is a bit of a shame, but a reasonable compromise. I guess where the outboard is stored would be room enough for a small genset. If it was my boat you wouldn't be touring it on such a nice day, We'd be out on the sea!
There is, mine as a generator, it came optioned with it.
All you need for a weekend getaway or a cruise of the Exumas or other carribean locales
its amazing to think that if your willing to go a couple of years back you can get your hands on a 38 that costs less than a 32
Great boat and I love the style. The dealer could have 'tarted' it up a bit, wood deck has got green discoloring and looks weathered, seals in storage lockers and transom shower have gunk in them. Maybe all this helps the price..
Glad someone said it. Nice boat but stuff like that makes me question how well the owner maintained it. Especially the discoloration on the swim platform.
It did not look particularly well cared for and could have done with a real deep clean. Still all that is superficial but, for me, gives a poor impression.
@@kutark you’d be amazed how quickly the deck goes green. Nothing a bit of teak cleaner can’t fix

I wish I lived over your side of the pond. You get so many more great boats. That would make a great summer retreat for me. Over here I only seem to find shabby. Oats that are way over priced.

200 grandees...for a peasant like me it is just mega bucks...but hey, a man can dream! I liked the round port holes in the lounge/galley...the second stateroom is perfect for kids, maybe a little claustrophobic for adults. It's a lovely boat...I love these small boats, they are infinitely more interesting than the multi million £ yachts...And I love to see dials, round dials instead of digital read-outs. You can't beat a good old round dial!!

I thought it looked in poor condition for a 2015 boat. And I also think that reflects in the attractive price. I would bet that anti fowling hasn't been done in ages.

Flat screen microwave? Yes, but it's for THIN crust pizza.
From late Spring, through Summer with a fun early Fall, this boat is both capable and comfortable. Not over equipped, yet well designed. If Utility had a Beauty Mark it would rival this boat (make sense?).
And I've just marked off another video without you falling in. You've kept dry so many times I'll need to turn the paper over.
Nice boat like the second cabin being on the centre line makes it a little more roomy on a small boat.

Great design. It’s amazing how the placing of the helm seats and the positioning of the stairs down to the lower deck (and therefore access to the mid-cabin) make such a difference

I stumbled across Aquaholics by accident the other week and I am now addicted to your channels. You should cross promote your other channels, i.e., motoholics for a few seconds at the end of your outtakes or intro at start or end of the video via graphics as again only realised you have more than one channel 😉 by accident..... Well edited great videos and great walthroughs on the boats. I love your technical insights re electronics and insights into the engines, especially. I think you have one on cars now too... 🤔 keep up the awesome work 👏 🙌

I would really welcome 🙏 a little 3 or 4 part mini series on buying a boat that the average man in the street can afford, not ones that cost the same as an average house in the UK! For example, your boat is absolutely awesome. Do a little mini series for boating for dummies! How to buy a 30k boat. Your top 10 30k boats for example. What to look out for in buying a 30k boat. I loved the one you did with the costs of running your boat for example. Maybe you have done one, but I haven't come across it yet , for example, a 30k boat to buy for the average Joe to insure it, store it in winter and licences needed, etc... vhf marine licences does the boat need a licence or registration with authorities, etc... like a boating for newbies. How far out should you venture without RYA training for example. What do you do of it gets really misty or weather changes and you don't know how to navigate or have no radar etc. Just a rough idea for boating newbies. That would make a great little series. Like add ons to your how to fuel a boat etc. loved them. Very informative and great narration and editing as mentioned. You can see your passion for boating coming through and clearly your baby. I really enjoyed your mini weekend away series too, and you meet the owners fantastic too 😀 thanks again. Maybe as an idea 💡 add a top 5 things I like about this boat and 5 things that could be better... A bit like carwow. It's great! You are the carwow for boats!
@@snoopydogg1 "How far out should you venture without RYA training for example." No farther than you can swim. The world has far too many ignorant boaters, and they're always getting into or causing trouble. Search UA-cam for boat fails if you want examples. Seriously, training in almost any complex endeavor is worth its weight in gold. Operating a boat is much more complicated than driving a car, but a bit less so than flying an airplane.
Likewise, "if you don't know how to navigate" you shouldn't be going offshore.
There are tons of good books on these subjects, but as I'm based in the US, perhaps Nick or someone could recommend some that are specific to UK conditions (and to the fact that buoy colors are swapped to opposite sides of the channel!).
I love some of your ideas, though! I'm not sure they're quite in Nick's remit, but videos on those topics are out there, and his monthly used boat column in MBY covers lower-cost boats from time to time. Oh, and have you watched Nick's videos of Marianne going through her RYA training?

it is not often you see the water so mirror shiny, it was very beautiful.
This is a cracking boat, engine space is great, only real issue is the fact that I wish that they had designed the boat with a separate shower space.

When you went into the engine compartment I saw exactly what I expected. The outside is showing some wear, and i\she could really use a good, deep cleaning. My car's the same way. But open the hood, and you have a clean, well-maintained mechanical system that's not going to let you down, and that's exactly what you showed. The previous owner prioritized what's most important! Thanks for the tour!
What an excellent little boat Nick. You do find some peaches. That mid cabin was brilliant and a good owner's cabin too. Great saloon, good engine access, good size bathing platform with good and, probably, pretty economical performance. It's been said many times before but could this be your next baby? Jaques looked very comfy!

Agreed, the owner is obviously not much into upkeep, the teak decking in the rear was green. You would think otherwise based on something of that value. I’ve seen this same boat in pristine condition.

I think we don't hear about it outside France, or certainly in the US, but I saw the other day that Beneteau's been building powerboats for longer than they've been building sailboats!

This would be the perfect boat to buy. A little old and weathered on the outside which makes for a lower price, but nice condition on the inside. Looks quite easy to clean up and restore.

A nice boat & the helm position looks good but it's not in great condition for only 6/7 years old. The teak on the bathing platform and deck looked in a sorry state and there was dirt & muck accumulated in lots of crevices. If you compare her to the 2008 Fairline 47GT from last week that looked to have been much better cared for.
Needs a good spray of Patio Magic over the bathing platform and decks. Very green.

Given the huge exposure your video gives the seller, free of charge, I really am surprised that the broker, One Marine in this case, didn't arrive ten minutes before you and prep the boat for inspection! Presentation is everything when selling.
Sorry to be pedantic but the nominal UK mains voltage, since Jan 2003, is 230V.

Nice vessel. My nephew wondered if a couple could live on something like this? A tad small imo but interested what you might think? Perhaps a f/bridge tends to make smaller boats feel larger.
That depends on the couple. Some people live in motorhomes and tour and they're smaller. Bear in mind that some marinas don't allow living permanently on board.
