I wanna highlight why they do what they do and give people insight. As I know growing up it can be hard having a different lunch or traditions than others! So this video inspired me even more!
Sounds like shes teaching them some Korean words and culture. I was impressed that the girls were saying korean words unprompted and knew about kimchi and kimbap even before they debut in Korea. Very cute to see them embrace eachother.

She had to be a clueless Korean, ALL of them, even though they had different mother tongues, spoke in English, so that the others could understand. Just the Korean who comes from a tiny country, it was boring. And they are global idols, not niche kpop idols. They have TALENT that 95% of Koreans don't have.

I’m 33 and when I say this kinda healed all my gradeschool lunchtime trauma. Someone was always making a hurtful comment about the Caribbean dishes my mom packed, even my “friends”. So I’d just starve until school was over. I LOVE how everyone happily took interest in this video and maybe that will translate to the current generation of grade schoolers that not everyone eats the same thing and that’s ok.
No god like TRULLYY, when those kids grow up I'm 100% sure they regret ever saying those words! Hopefully kids today will be more open, but just know that they've all probably realised their mistakes and regret being so rude over food that they now probably like.

Here's an idea for a future video: KATSEYE plays video games. The girls could play group games like pico park, party animals, and gang beasts. You could even throw in a prize or something. I think we'd love to see that kind of content and the girls would have a lot of fun bonding (if they don't lose their minds with pico park lol). For another video, you could have the girls play popular board games from each of their childhoods. It would be great to see them learn about different games from different cultures. You could even combine the two ideas into a 2 part sleepover games series or something.

Growing up in a multicultural family I was lucky to have been introduced to nearly all of these dishes growing up! I ate black beans and eggs for breakfast nearly every morning and lunch usually involved some variation of sticky rice and curry fish. I also had fruit, usually a banana or some grapes. Kimbap and Palak Paneer are some of my favorite dishes hands down that I still can't get enough of. My grandma used to make a HUGE plate of kimbap for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I also love the way Yakult is so widely loved amongst different cultures (we had those in my home growing up, too). Heavily relate to kids making weird comments about my lunch growing up but I'm glad people are starting to expand their palates and become less judgmental about these things. It's also nice that despite the difference in upbringing that you all can relate to and support one another. ♥
