I can think a few reasons why there's security guard. They were filming in front of Pavilion mall, literally in front of the entrance which the guard usually stands there. I'm pretty sure the girls got permission to film it there so the guards need to take care of the "traffic" lol sorry for my bad English. Like not to block other people from entering/exiting the mall when people gathered around to watch the dance cover. Also having guards around them is good imo. Just to be safe so that they don't get harassed etc from rude passerby
That's a mall security guard who controls the crowd... in kuala lumlur it's very crowded with people and foreign tourists here... And doing a dance cover should ask permission from them too I think
