Someone made a comment about your language. It is the year 2022. There are ways to say things, "politically correct" phrases, ideas and words that reflect how we are feeling at that precise moment. I personally find your candor and honesty refreshing and relevant. Keep being you Fr. Patrick and tell it like it is. This is the way we understand.
I wish you would of spoken more about St. Veronica and less on ALL Your examples!!! And since you had a microphone you really didn't need to YELL all The way thru! It looks like there is a book. I will read it. And learn more about her!
"piss you off" and " You go girl"... when we lower ourselves to the common folk, you only bring us down. Language is the first thing we encounter to determine the measure of holiness, sincerity, etc. I am guilty of much worse than this, I am just trying to tell you how I felt as a Catholic when you spoke. You wear a collar and must bring us up, not try to fit in. Very off-putting, especially when talking about Saint Veronica. Must of what you said was so important and so needed. Please in the future do not cut your own message by buffoonery.
