MWA was a crew...brodha v... everyone knows him...smokey the ghost and big nikk were members of this crew...big nikk quit rapping but smokey and brodha still in the game...do check out Smokey the ghost's "Her name is" and "The human form"...he is behind the popular group named "wanadaf"...
There was a crew called Low Rhyderz...might be the first Indian hip hop group...Xstacy sash from that group is still making music...and if you want to witness how the scene was a decade before here in india , check out MWA and Low Rhyderz on soundcloud and yt.
Then there is rapper Big Deal...do check out his project "one kid with a dream"...this album was appreciated everywhere in the country...
Check out Sree Sen for some grime music...apart from these, there are a lot of rappers killing in their native language...not much idea about them...and yes these are those whom you can call the first generation rappers who built the Indian hip hop scene for upcoming rappers...facts...in one decade there have came a lot of young talents
