Thank you for your video. I am just learning. My goal is to understand the permittivity or dielectric constant of a double sided printed circuit board in order to experiment with microstrip filters on a printed circuit board. I don't understand Eo. What is the F/m in the equation? ( Eo=8.854 * (10^-12) * F/m). I want to be able to determine Er from the equation. What I would like to do is to take a piece of double sided printed circuit board, measure the capacitance from one side of the board to the other side, and determine the Er or permittivity of the board. The next step is to learn more about microstrip filters. I've seen UA-cam videos showing how to make microwave filters by using adhesive copper foil, cutting to size, and then pasting them on one side of the printed circuit board to make filters. The other side of the printed circuit board is used as a ground plane. So, I guess that this sounds like wave guides. Thanks again for any advice.
nice video with good explanation sir. can we use this method to measure the dielectric constant of textile materials? if then how we can control the pressure rises among them?
@@gsciencehd6832 thank you sir, but while pressing the effect of pressure also considered, how we can eliminate such pressure? plz assist me to clear this doubt
@@saranyasivadas2205 Pressure has no relationship in the formula. It can be applied to eliminate the effect of air to measure dielectric constant. Just press harder and measure the value. You can see the effect of pressure on meter screen too. if the effect is not much then it can be ignore in case of fabric
Sir, it was a very good training. Congratulations. Where can we buy this dielectric material?

Good
Sir you apply any voltage or amp to plates???
nice video with good explanation sir.

yes we can measure any material provided you press the plates hard so that no air stays in
