      @@thanos1229 My German is ok. My dialect still isn't. I'm fine when there's standardization, context and isolation, such as in this video. But listening to 2 people having a casual conversation in dialect, I'm still completely lost 90% of the time.

    Thanks for this refresher course. Took 4 years in high school and visited Germany. My confidence led me to take Russian in college and Mannn was that challenge.

    Thanks for this good listening practice! Some small suggestions: 1) konserviertes Kleid = conservative dress, "reserved" means a booked thing (eg hotel room) or a discreet person 2) wir sollten uns auf ein Umzugsdatum einigen = we should agree on a moving date ("to decide" has a different meaning; it fits in this specific example, but it would not in several others)

    Ich bin Student von der Stufe A2 und ich denke ich habe 40% oder so richtig verstanden .. die Gespräche waren ein bisschen schnell für mich und manche Wörter waren auch fremd .. aber ich danke euch, i finde diese Methode sehr hilfreich um mein Hören zu verbessern.

    Pretty much jumped from A1 listening to halfway through this in two days lol. Reckon I was at b1 reading so needed to catch up. its goes fast. cant stand times and numbers. I was initially, like 2 years ago, way too lazy to learn them. thought they were worthless to know! not now!

      Completely disagree. I’m an English speaker learning German right now and it’s been incredibly easy so far. It’s complex, but not hard. The only difficult part is getting the genders right and that’s not essential for learning to understand the language.

    Das hört sich sooo abgelesen an. Die Intonation im Reallife ist ganz anders.
    Ich hab vor Kurzem mal ein kurzes Video "synchronisieren" wollen und ich hatte ein ähnliches Problem.
    Also.. dran arbeiten und ändern :)
    ... ansonsten hört sich das nicht schön an.

      I think it's actually a very good colloquial translation - you don't want to be translating word for word !

    tinkerbell啊哈皮啊哈哈哈尔滨了图上啊了解下雷蛇哦没什么大不了哈利波特the first time in forever with you in forever and I am now back from the office I have been working on the same for the last few months and now I have completed the hard work here and there is no need to worry about the first time in my life as I am going to be away for the weekend and the rest of the week 2 I will be back in the office 6 I will be away 9pm and will be back 9am on the same for the last few months and now I have to wait for the last few months and now I have to wait for my flight and then I fly go to the airport to get the car back from the airport and the airport taxi driver and the lost vehicle was parked in the road and the vehicle was parked in the anna vehicle parked in my parking lane with my car parking space around the road and the lost treasure pony is a bit of a mess and I have to wait for the last few days to complete the rest sleep and I will elsa the rest of the week before the end of the wings full movie with the first time in forever frozen and the Great Fairy tales will be made in the morning when the first time in forever frozen Anna will be back in the office 6 I will be in touch with you soon as I am going to be away from the end of the month and I will be back on the 1st of July and will be returning on the same day as the contract is due to be made as I have not been able to complete the application yet as I am currently away for the next

      These videos are very helpful and useful, but I wish you would translate into English more literally, word-for-word. That would help us to better understand exactly what the German is saying and the logic behind the vocabulary and grammar. For example, "die Wohnung befindet sich" could be literally translated into English as "the apartment finds itself". That still makes sense in English, and it clarifies exactly what the German words are saying too.

      The translations are very poor. You really give no sense of what the words are actually saying.

      interesting points ,if anyone else trying to find out best book to learn to speak German try Dalz Instant German Discovery (just google it ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.

      @@jeanrosenfeld7947 This is a listening practice, you should not even need the English subtitles (at least for most of the content). Besides, I think the English subtitles are rather good.
