Almost every single reactor has commented on the choir mix. I read an answer from Troy that they wanted her as a voice in the choir, not an individual voice. It's a matter of taste, and the creator/composer always wins. You can appreciate their choice or not. This is really the first Nightwish song for which I've heard multiple disparaging remarks. I, for one, love it as the gift that it is from the mind of the greatest composer of my long lifetime.
Of course it's a matter of taste and while we wouldn't preferred to hear Floor stand out, we appreciate and enjoyed what Tuomas created. We're really looking forward to hearing the rest of the album!

Great reaction ladies. I myself prefer this mix of sounds because there is now wholeness and group/history in both lyrics and background of the music. I wouldn´t raise Floor´s voice harder, because something could be lost in process and something from the complete emotional impact of the music could be taken away. But this song and video are so good. There has really been like 4000 people before us - and only during the last 400 years. This is huge! If go go back further the number will grow to the crazy dimensions. They are now like ghosts in our genes.. And we actually are also ghosts for the next generations. So it´s better to be curious ghost!
Tuomas, he understand's God, he's with the appropiate people! And this is a great legacy for us!

The weird animal behaviours are... should I say "enhanced". Some animals can walk pretty steep climbs, but not that steep, eagles can carry large prey, but not that large, owls can turn their heads almost full circle, but not many full circles ;-)
Obviously manufactured imagery, but I think it may be a reference to a past very large prehistoric bird that may have been able to do that.
Great video, great song, terrible mix of Floor's vocals (mostly on the chorus). Obviously it's the way Tuomas intended it, just not for me. If ever a song needed a lyric video it was this one! FYI, the Nightwish Arena channel has done a pretty good re-mix of this with Floor's vocals lifted clearer in the mix. Much better IMO. I'm scoring this one 10 for the amazing video, 9.5 for the song and a generous 4 for the vocal mix. Thanks for the reaction Amber and Charisse 👍
