Just to let you know, you can launch that car from a dead start all day long and not hurt it. You are driving a Porsche. They are built for that. Keep up the good work.
Saw your other video. I think your size 13 is hurting your shift times. I have a 718 GTS 6MT and was able to get much quicker shifts 1-2 and especially 2-3. You should definitely get the numeric shifter. It’s very easy to install. You were 50% there when you swapped your shift knob. Anyway, keep up the good work fellow P enthusiast!
Thanks man. The manual is not suited to this turbo engine. Its programmed to blip on upshift and it chokes unless you keep it in gear longer. I think this is specific to 991.2 carreras
Cool video with both devices measuring your 60. (DA) Density Altitude / temperature could also factor into a optimum time that Porsche or a magazine might publish. Interesting with rollout measurement. Thanks
Thank you for watching and your great comment. 100% agreed. DA, tire pressure, tarmac quality, wind, street grade, TC on vs off, all can make a measurable difference. Its harder to get the porsche number for the manual than I thought. Race drivers must be pounding on these cars to get perfect 60s. Was also the case for my macan turbo and that was pdk. Eventually got it consistently with the Macan but I let it go with the 911, too expensive to replace a fried clutch and its a laser beam once you get it rolling anyway.
2 attempts : regular dude.....I died. New subscriber.
Just wanted to clarify what we are looking at right off the bat ;)

Where’s the power shift? I’m sure u could get 1/2 sec off to 60
You cant power shift 1->2 in sport or sport plus because of the stupid blip in between. Unless u turn of TC completely. But then it wont hook :(
Hey did u end up installing the ams filters? Any difference in sound?
Will do it friday, but going on with akrapovic titanium muffler so will be hard to differentiate just the filter effect. Will post sound vid soon.
So the same as an automatic Nissan 370Z!
More or less, unless you wanna burn the clutch trying. Once you’re moving its much faster than the z. Lightning quick
