    Great video. I've got into mountainbiking last year and i really appreciate the effort you guys put into those videos. I am pretty sure that creating content in that quality takes more than a week. Now i'll head over to foxs website to gather all the informations for my fork. Thank you and keep up the great work!

    The end was funny, I laughed.
    "I just took apart a front suspension, crap, but I don't know how to set the sag!" lol

    One thing: You should not immerse the foam rings in float fluid but in suspension fluid. The float fluid is only used within the air chamber. As long as you do not open the air chamber, you do not need any float fluid.

    Good video. Short, precise and on point unlike most other videos.

    Hi! Thank you for a nice video. One little question: you put float fluid on foam rings and seals. Fox (at least for 2013-2016 forks) in their videos put the regular oil instead. Please share your thought and experience, please.

    I was following the procedure in the video, and everything was going great until I got to the part of putting the nuts with the crush washers back on the bottom of the legs. The internal parts spin with the nuts, so I can't tighten the nuts. How do I prevent the internals from spinning? Thanks.

    Well presented video and clear. Only issue I had was why bother using a Torque wrench at all if you don't use it correctly (on both legs btw) :), though to be fair most people don't.

    I had to buy a 1 1/16 inch Hex Key for my shocks. It wasn't easy to find, had to be ordered. Be aware basicly.

      AhilMohan I would be scared to open that fork up lol the oil is either going to be gone or look like mud. Your stanchions are going to look rough as well

    • @AhilMohan
      @AhilMohan 5 років тому

      You're probably right lol. I'm somewhat dreading it. Although, I still see oil on the air side of the stanchions after every ride, but none on the dampener side.

    Why would you put suspension oil in the lowers when you have a closed cartridge? Suspension oil is not the best lubricator...
    Use some engine oil instead.
