As someone who has worked in the service industry forever. I cringed so hard when Jill Zarin said she wants to teach people. I cannot tell you how condescending it is when someone thinks they’re going to teach me how to do my job better. It’s rude and beyond out of touch with reality.
I completely agree , I worked as a waitress at a high end wine bar and when people try to “teach” you , it comes off as so “look what I know” . People that do this are beyond full of themselves

When she demanded the hot tub temperature be lowered during the initial tour, without even checking with the other guest’s temperature preferences, I knew it was going to be a roller coaster episode. Coming from doing hospitality it takes an extreme amount of empathy, patience and passion for the job. It was my joy to make people comfortable and to go above and beyond. That is what separates restaurants/yachts/hotels that have flawless reputations vs. places that have people working for them that don’t truly understand hospitality.
Am I the only one who thought that Jill made some great points? I would be pissed if I’m paying that much money and there’s no service for 30+ minutes. People hate to hear feedback and that’s a problem. Of course, I haven’t watched the episode yet so maybe it was the way she did it?

Jill needs to stop being so defensive and just laugh at herself. When she demanded the hot tub temperature be lowered during the initial tour, without even checking with the other guest’s temperature preferences, I knew it was going to be a roller coaster episode. Jill has the potential to be charming if she was nicer.

The issue with things like Angelina is that she told everyone or "sold" it as this wonderful family, even once they split. Now she wants to go back and change the narrative she sold. That is what separates restaurants/yachts/hotels that have flawless reputations vs. places that have people working for them that don’t truly understand hospitality.

Jill has many issues but when it comes to the service they received on the yacht considering how much they spent, I would be complaining too! Sounds like the staff on the yacht 'cut many corners' when it came to providing decent service! She would have had little to complain about if the service was excellent!

Miss Jill, I feel you. People need to put things in context. If you want a true homie to tell you what's up and be real with you.. I would be down to just kick it with you. We could go to afternoon tea, or spin the block. I do NOT want to ever be on television, or in that world. What I really enjoy the most, is just good conversation with people and hearing how they feel, while doin' this life. Just to tell you the truth, in a cool way, so you could maybe see when you cut people off sometimes, but I see you're just trying to interject, and it's easy to do when you're excited about something or feel passionate about something.
