I played this song (on a CD) to my wife at our wedding 29 years ago. Love this man's voice.
I just saw Mili and band at the Whiskey A Go Go last week. They absolutely rocked the house. His voice is insanely amazing. Mili gives a 100% to every performance!
The fact that this man can still hack these unbelievably demanding songs . He wrote as a kid is incredible in of itself .
My favorite of all time. The best.
He didn't lose his voice. His voice got more mature : simply put the voice of an almost 60 years old man. Asking him to still sound exactly like in his 20s would be asking Pamela Anderson to still look like she did in Baywatch. 😁 If I was paying 50 bucks to hear him sing like that for a hour and a half, I would leave the concert a pretty happy bunny. 😊👍
I don't know who was complaining about his voice but whoever was didn't stick around to the 3:30 mark or so. I was taken back by the soft-sell at first, kind of was getting pissed to he honest then he opened up and started belting it out like he can/should. Yeah he is getting older but dude still has it, just had to wait for it. :)
@@originalscottfree man, I mean, even in his 20s these songs weren't easy for him. All in all, and considered all that he went through, this guy still looks and does amazing. 😊

The difficulty of his songs is beyond what 99.9% of singers can do for only 1 song, a whole concert is a totally different animal. After such an accident to be able to still absolutely kill it, is one of a kind. That's what makes him easily the best rock vocalist ever!

So true to . Mili only is he still handsome for his age his singing voice is still amazing right along with it and his band is still kicking ass as always . We are so fortunate to have him and his band still with us , so many others from the 80's of lead singers and bands have died off from different things so we are also blessed in having him and his band still with us and that alone makes me feel lucky when i get to watch them live .

I still remember the day this released, the first time hearing it on the radio, the first time seeing the video on MTV (when they actually were a music channel), the first time I saw you guys perform it live in a little club called Mississippi Nights in Saint Louis MO. I still get that same feeling today, every time I hear this song!

Understanding that the performance is live; that temp, humidity, and the # of songs performed beforehand affect everything in this video - I still enjoyed the performance.
It's not like Mili's in a studio or lip-synching.
Of course I'd love to hear the song in its original register and Mili s8ng it with the long sustaining notes the studio recording or earlier live performances had when he was 30 years younger. But, he's still out there; doing what he loves to do.
For that, as jealous as I may get that he has more talent in his shedding pubes than I ever will ... lol! Well, I can't complain since even in my heyday I could never sing as high as he can still today.
