Plan Rodgers stuck with entertainment and had a moderately popular UA-cam channel and gigs on TV. Thomas Gore I believe works on behind the scenes stuff. Joshua Purely turned into a girl and works as some kind of designer
There is a logic to all of the Balloonshop videos, the people in the videos are players in a real-life simulation computer game, and in this instance, the book reviewer character is a player that tried the "book reviewer" occupation, and the guest of his book review program is a computer bot made for his event, and it is glitching out heavily, not giving responses like it should in an ideal simulation. Just like when an RPG game on PC or console has a mission that is unfinishable because the quest-giver has bugged out, and it hasn't been patched yet so you can't get on with the main campaign mission.
This is so stupid and brilliant at the same time, and I love it. The simple idea of Stephen communicating, not with words, but with facial expressions, and then just sort of assuming that others can understand it...and the dichotomy of Stephen's warm, endearing smiles against Nicholas' agitated freaking out. I wonder if these guys had to do a lot of takes, because they were laughing during filming.
I love Olan. Continued being a huge fan way past the end of Balloon Shop. But I would argue to my dying breath that Thomas is the funniest of the trio. His signature dance and screams and just awkward yet present nature. He’s a king.
@@jamesredline1352 I agree, the three of them all are great and Olan especially has a lot of creativity and humor that I love seeing him share. But man Thomas just has a way for delivering odd lines and wild screams that just kills me. Ever since I was in Middle School it's made me laugh and hasn't let up since. No one has come close to capturing the awkward energy imo.
I gotta jump in on this Thomas appreciation, he's still a legend. His phone call series, New Prime, Pop Rocket, Hollywood Hotshots, and now his Haunt Hound appearances, all have a special place in my heart. Hell even his short-lived video game golfing streams were delightful. I get the impression he's a much more serious and passionate person than he lets on
So this one seems to me to be a commentary on Brahan's unique suffering-this is his own personal hell, trapped for an eternity interviewing a man who will never answer his questions no matter how urgently he implores him. He has moments of lucidity where he breaks free of the insanity, realizes that he's been trapped, and becomes overwhelmed. He screams with terror at the bald truth laid bare before him. Ultimately he sinks back into the comforting embrace of the delusion, of playing his part in the never ending charade, if only to protect the shattered remnants of his broken mind
Really, this video is an allegorical examination of life and the existential quandary in which mankind finds itself. We call out to the universe, asking it to answer The Question: of the purpose of our existence, of the meaning of our loves, of the eventuality of our most earnest dreams and yet... We are met with silence. We wait patiently and ask again, but again no reply. Determined, we call out again and again, in mounting anger and frustration to the point of hysteria, at times calming ourselves to collect our sanity again, but always returning to the frantic, desperate plea for The Answer, displaying our animalistic urges to be recognized (the lion roar), until, ultimately, we're "all out of time for today" and we die, still unrecognized and unanswered.
+Andy Spendlove I think you watched a different video, 'cause this is about a guy asking a question and the other guy doesn't say jack shit... What video did you watch though?

Everything Steven said was so detailed and well put together, he makes me want to write a book of my own! Steven must be an inspiration to all young authors.

One of the most under-appreciated videos on the internet.
+immaculateboy I wouldn't say that, it's got almost one million views.
+L McD Not enough.
+r red Well, balloonshop as a whole should be more popular, so none of their videos has enough views really.
immaculateboy for real tho lol
Lol
Still the best UA-cam channel ever made
Absolutely
WHEN WILL THE BLOOD COME HOME?

True
You seen Cyndago yet? They aren't making videos anymore either but lots of good stuff there.
I like how Steven keeps on nodding as if he's carrying on some muted invisible conversation that only he can hear! :D

I was thinking the same thing xD
This is such an underrated comment
"Tell us the story, Stephen."
The whole point was that the paper was made from willow wood
Still watching.
I have to watch this video at least once a month.
no
same lmao
Same man. Over 10 fucking years.... I remembering subbing them when they had less than 1000 subscribers
Oh hey it's you!
Actually Stephen did a great job in this interview, he made me very interested about his book "Willows"

olan ( guy who played as stephen) has a youtube account called OlanRogers
go check him out!!!
I lost it when he just broke out into those blood curling screams XD
