I actually thought of the same thing. If we go with the assumption that they're still conscious to some extent in their item forms, what if Spamton actually reacted to Jevil if you tried to equip them both onto the same character?
It's clear that Spamton doesn't like Jevil and is even afraid of him, so I thought that would lead to a pretty interesting interaction.
@@catbatrat1760 if you try to give the Jevil’s Knife to Noelle she says that it smiled at her so we know Jevil is still conscious as an item so we could assume that Spamton is too.

If the player selected Yes in that moment, Susie would hang around until Kris had gotten better. She even joked about turning Kris and Ralsei into candles, and Kris actually felt amused by the joke.
Doesn't Kris not like hugs though? I mean, Asgore mentioned that in Chapter 1.
@@smallguy73 Well, Asgore did do it rather sudden, compared to Ralsei's gentler hugs.

@@smallguy73 I think that Kris not liking hugs is still a possibility. Even if there are fans who disprove that in order to probably make hugging Ralsei feel validated.
But I feel like Kris not liking hugs would have more of an impact with that option at having Kris asking Susie for a hug. Because if Kris does actually not like them, then them actively asking for Susie to hug them, would be huge for their character.
This makes Ralsei look a lot less sus than he was in the moment.
and yet he is using the same words, to me in that moment he wasn''t sus, but then after hearing people talk about it I do find it pretty sus
What is it that makes him suspicious? Cause in this moment, to me at least, I think Ralsei was just trying to keep the team focussed. They had a more pressing matter to attend to, with Queen threatening to unwittingly bring on the apocalypse.
... Not that this moment should be brushed aside, but rather brought up later.

Not sure what it is you're theorizing, but I don't doubt the idea that Ralsei knows a thing or two; just that I doubt he's malevolent like people are suspecting.

Ralsei is caught having talks with Kris offscreen whenever he's with Kris... After having the SOUL go bother Susie for whatever reason. What's more, Kris has a low heal rating when drinking Ralsei Tea... Which is odd considering he's a Dark World version of Asriel.
For anyone confused about Kris wanting a hug from Susie: Asgore said they didn't like hugs "like that", wich is being taken from the ground and getting stuck in it untill they let go

But also Kris likes Susie a lot, it's possible they make an exception for her if they don't usually like hugs
its terrifying how kris gained control for a split second to yell so his "friends" can maybe help him
but to only get controlled by us again and be forced to make it look like hes better now by hugging

not really if you chose "yes" they will say kris doesent look fine and he is clearly holding it in because of the players command. but if you say "no" wich is what kris was `rpbably trying to say himself he yells it because thats what he was trying to do

Considering just how bad a time kris was having after defeating spamton I do not regret forcing them to hug ralsei before.
They REALLY needed to be hugged back for this moment.

Their are so,e very slight hints that Kris doesn’t like Ralsei or at the very least doesn’t trust him. The mechanic with the Tea where they heal more for the compatibility between everyone for example. Susie likes everyone so heals for the maximum amount meanwhile Kris gets healed for the minimum amount drinking Ralsei Tea. When a given the choice of saying you’d like to bring Ralsei to the festival Kris’ tone is weird as if they didn’t actually believe themselves when they said the answer. But Kris does seem to legitimately like Susie for all the examples given and Kris asks (without prompt from us) for a hug from Susie.
i like when the comic is of an actual in game scene, it's nice to see something reimagined
Finally, good Undertale/delta rune comic dubs, reminds me of the good days when the fandom wasn't riddled with content only made for generating views, I missed the ones that actually had passion behind them

this is cute, I sorta wish there is a comic, and dub, for the other choice however. Yes.
Because that shows Susie's perceptive, direct, and caring side in comforting Kris, through the control of the soul on his heart.
In contrast with Ralsei who only notices Kris's distress because they yell and rather than asking why, just hugs them and says not to think about it.

And the hug is not bad at all, I mean, he is just reconforting his friend. Considering he is new with interacting with people, it's very understandable

I actually really like the attention to detail how the heart is hovering towards Yes, but Kris defies the command by screaming his *true* emotional state.
Something I also liked is why Kris _actually_ screams, or at least the hypothesis behind it. He wants to say he's _not_ fine, but he expects the player to say he IS fine because they don't understand how he feels. So, he's preemptively hyping himself up to resist the command *Yes* as much as possible, which is why the "I'm fine" comes out so strained and forced; however because you said No and he was already pushing so heavily to say no himself, it's like letting go of a rope that someone was pulling with all their might.
So... he screams it out much harsher than he expected.

Well, my english teacher told me that "he" also work for gender neutral.. i'll follow what he said. Besides i somehow feeling uncomfortable saying "they" to one person
Tbh man, it doesn’t really matter, other’s says its they, there, and most say’s its your own interpretation, so at the end of the day, wether you say he or she, it doesn’t really matter, thats your own interpretation. To me Kris is a He, it fits him alot more.

This scene really makes me hope that later in the chapters that we, the heart, and Kris can come to some kind of symbiotic relationship rather than a parasitic one.
I don't think that Kris asked for this much in the same way that the heart didn't ask for this, we made a vessel at the beginning of the game and somebody took it from us.
Or I could be completely wrong and we're absolutely fucking evil.

you tryed to say yes instead, so that cant be it. and kris doesnt move his mouth like he is saying no, it looks more like he is shocked because of the sudden yell. i think it was that item you got from spamton. the items you get from the secret bosses are basicly them and become a item for you to use and fight/defend with. so using that evidence, i think spamton was the one saying it (while he is still in his item form).
